Smackdown logo has not changed much and it is not the one in need of a change!
What needs to be revamped is the stage, it is such a dull stage and does not really stand out as much!
Many may argue otherwise, but an arena can really change the atmosphere of the show, lawls!

It seems like a minor change, but still great to see.

Actually, I heard they are changing the logo to this. In anticipation of the big Percy Watson world title push...

How many times has SD been given a complete logo/theme overhaul? It just seems compared with RAW, SD is constantly being tweaked. My rough count for graphics is: 1999 - Original look 2001 - Glass look (w/ Beautiful People) 2003 - Metallic spikes look (w/ I Want It All) 2004 - Film reel look (w/ Rise Up) 2006 - Animated scoreboard look (w/ Rise Up 2006) 2008 - Robotic helix look (w/ Rise Up 2006 and If You Rock Like Me) 2009 - X look (w/ Let It Roll) The logo was retweaked in the 2001, 2008 and 2009 revamps with an additional "Friday Night" logo made for the 2004 set in 2005. Tweaks or not, I think it still needs a new logo altogether. Regardless of the tweaks, it still looks like the same one that we were introduced to back in 2001. At least back in 2006, the RAW logo was changed to the one that we've gotten used to for a long time now.

makes sense to me...I mean Smackdown's tenth year just ended...so why not get rid of the X...? they've also shifted a lot of the focus away from their X-division. oh wait, that was the other company logo change where they took away the x.
