Can't wait for Bryan to snap and apply the LeBell Lock on John Cena, Jr. in 25 years. Well it would be John Cena III as I'd hope Cena wont be wrestling that long. Since Cena is technically John Cena Jr. Completely forgot lol.

Bryan reminds me of Santino when he debuted and was pushed as a serious wrestler. It's like watching this ridiculous looking person being shoved down our throats as a threat when they look out of place. I understand he's good and all but to me he's so small it's hard to believe in him. I know there is Rey Mysterio but he's different because he's never been potrayed as the favorite where as I can feel them trying to make out Bryan's dangerous.

He knows a wealth of submissions. Being small doesn't mean you'll automatically lose against somebody bigger than you. If you have the knowledge, you can't be glossed over because your opponent is bigger than you.

Bryan could probably make most WWE wrestlers smell their own asses if he wanted to twist them around.

He looks like a teenager. I've not seen many school boys own men half their size.

You mean to tell me now I have to recite every US president in chronological order to Bryan in order to get his autograph? Son of a biscuit!

I don't think you said what you meant to say, because you said that you haven't seen many school boys beat the crap out of midgets and dwarfs. Daniel Bryan back in 2005 was getting some "Bob Backlund" taunts from ROH crowds when he first won the title. He won the belt via submission with the crossface chickenwing (a bad-ass finisher, btw), and eventually turned the atomic drop into one of his signature moves. He's more or less the same size as the Dynamite Kid, pre-gas Eddy and Benoit, Dean Malenko, Sean Waltman, Chris Candido, young Jericho, Chavo, Tajiri, and others who have been credible non-cruiserweights. I see a small ground-based grappler, and I think of someone who had to learn how to fight and be mean to cover for outward appearances, whereas someone like Tarver or Otunga just screams "popcorn muscles."

I would love for Bryan to just snap in the middle of a match and lock on the cross face to the Miz preferably then watch him run for president of the WWE Universe

I really don't understand where this whole "Bryan has no charisma" thing comes from. If he started talking really slowly and then shouting, "I'M DANIEL BRYAN AND I'M REALLY COOL" I bet he'd get praised for oozing charisma. I'm with ya, I don't get it. Me neither. I don't know how anyone who watched Nexus' beatdown of Cena could say Bryan has no charisma. It's not the same obvious, Hollywood charisma that the Miz has; it's the more intense, serious, MMA-style charisma that GSP has.

Paragraph one will not be none sold! I laughed out loud! Paragraph two, spot on in every way. He is not a small guy at all really, in comparison to most wrestlers he'll seem smaller but eh, that really doesn't matter as a mark of who is tougher in kayfabe or in a worked enviroment.

Dan Bryan was never presidential material. Advantage Mr Backlund. Devils advocate: Daniel Bryan is not old enough to run for President. Also since he is from Scotland he can't run anyway. *handed a note* Oops, wrong Aberdeen.

He looks like a teenager. I've not seen many school boys own men half their size. Bryan's about 5'9", billed as 5'10". Diego Sanchez is 5'10". BJ Penn is 5'9". Matt Hughes is 5'9". Matt Serra's 5'6". All are pretty tough bastards. His size isn't the issue for me. I do think he would benefit from being a bit more built but that'd probably affect other aspects of his wrestling adversely.

I have always found Bryan Danielson to have a natural charisma. Sure he's not all gimmicks and catchphrases. But he is genuinely likeable.

Regarding the OP's question: I see it too. I've posted as such a couple times. The similarity is really strong to me. "Cheer him because he's good at wrestling and very technically proficient". Very 80s
