What good is it going to do for him to lose to Kane? I see Kane keeping the belt past Hell in a Cell where he probably puts Taker out till the Rumble or so and I dont know if Taker is the next champ but I cant think of someone who could take the belt off Kane without Takers help. Kaval and Danielson could be a tag team down the line so there is that too.

The right guy won. Hopefully Kaval keeps that title shot until it's off Kane cuz Stevie Wonder could see where that would go if he cashes it in before then. To be fair they never hotshotted Barrets award,

To be fair they never hotshotted Barrets award, It's not a comment on Wade's award at all, but more of I don't wanna see Kaval ending up being Kane's ragdoll for 5 minutes.

I am very, very glad he won. However, those NXT jobbers about ruined it for him and I think the WWE allowed him to win out of respect. I mean, these idiots ruined the whole segment. O'neal should be completely fired right after the show for no selling MVP's Yakuza Kick. Hell, Kaval cannot talk for crap, but he still cut a better promo than everybody else there besides Riley (Who's awful in the ring like the rest of them). Truly an abortion of a show.
Kaval was about the only positive on the whole season so it was good they had the right guy win.

I think he will come to Smackdown, and I disagree that he will go for the WHC title. To rationalize him not going for the biggest title on the show, the writers will probably have Ziggler cut a promo on him, starting a feud there. I don't think they're going to waste Kaval's win to just feed him to Kane or 'Taker. Or at least I hope they won't. Also, if they have a Kaval/Ziggler feud (or Ziggler/Kaval/Kofi three-way), it would create an internet all-star balance for the brands. Kaval would be chasing the second tier title on Smackdown, and Bryan would be chasing the second tier title on Raw. Pretty nifty, I'd say.

I'm still amazed how this board can consider Riley anything close to atrocious when his ring work and promos are well above average. Just who are we using for the standard, anyway?
I'm also surprised that people doubted that Kaval would win. I think the only other option they considered winning was Joe Hennig based on how long he had been in FCW.

Meh. I've never been a Kaval fan. I was hoping Hennig would win, despite his promos.
And Alex Riley did the worst F-5 I've seen in my life at the end of the show.

As I fan who has been a fan of Low-Ki since 1999, I marked out (even teary a little). It was a great feel good moment for him and his fanbase around the world. I can't wait to see whats next for Kaval. And I'm also glad that his fued with Michael is still going as Kaval brings out the best in Hennig.
And I agree with those on this thread that said Michael Mcgillicutty's promos were bad last night, Jumpin Jeff Farmer bad.

Why do you think he's going after the WH title? I thought the season winners of NXT get a shot at any title he or she wants not just the world title. He'll probably go after the IC title or something.

And Alex Riley did the worst F-5 I've seen in my life at the end of the show. That...........was not an F-5. It's called a TKO. It's been around a lot longer than the F-5.

Doesn't he get a title shot? Yup. I strongly recommend moving him to SmackDown and having him challenge for the WHC in two or three months. Either to face Kane and prove that he is a Warrior, or a babyface champion to show that he himself belongs with the champion.

They have to give kaval a mysterio push before he wins the whc
if they have him face dolph or miz it would be a huge waste

Can anyone see him being WHC though? Does anyone want to see him as World Champ in the near future? I really like the guy, but he's not ready.
Dolph or whoever would need to do something pretty bad to justify him going after the IC belt.
I don't know, this is the exact reason I didn't think he'd win. Riley would've made a lot more sense in that respect, despite the riots it would've caused on here.

The idea is to build him as credible. Yeah, he may lose his shot, but if he proves a worthy contender, then one may consider that as a return in the future. I would give him a year or so before I would consider giving him a top-tier title, the same time I would give Alberto Del Rio (assuming he doesn't get shifted to RAW).

This is so interesting for me, they were not pushing him as top contender to win but he did it. I don't know if internet votes have any chance to change outcome but it was good to make babyface win season 2, completly other way than season 1.

Oh God...so awesome.
Kaval is perfect. He has all the talent and thanks to Laycool is now better on the mic and unlike Danny Bryan he's really likeable and makes a great face. The only good part of an otherwise crap NXT cast.
He needs to go to Smackdown as I really dont want him away from Layla.

Even though WWE really bungled this new concept, at least they did right having two worthy and deserving winners for Seasons 1 and 2.

The right guy won. As for the future, I can see an Intercontinental Championship not too far away for him.
