Wow, still on that neutral field thing? Let it go. The schedule said neutral field, so I did as well. Likely, it was a compromise done so both teams would get more equal amounts of tickets, so Boise would lower their price. It's the same way OU/Texas is played at a "neutral field" in Texas, but you seem stuck on it.
For V-Tech, depends on where FSU is ranked after this. I'd say they're probably about equal at this point, because NC state will likely be ranked now giving both a win against a currently ranked team (assuming Miami wins). Of course, at the end of the season, V-Tech could easily be a better win if they knock Miami out of the rankings, despite laying down for a FCS team. Even then, they'll probably have a pretty good chance of going at each other directly, because the ACC has a championship game.
So, until the ACC championship, they'll probably have similar resumes unless one of them loses unexpectedly, which is certainly possible. Teams with more than two losses are really only impressive when they make real waves in a big conference, regardless of who beats them.
See, I don't have any double standards about this. The quality is the same for Boise as for Oklahoma, as for Auburn, as for Oregon. Where you're ranked currently matters, rather than where you were ranked pre-season. Where the teams you beat before are ranked now matters, as opposed to where they were ranked when you beat them. Those campaigning for Boise and TCU often express different standards of quality for BCS schools as non-BCS schools, I think it's the same. Oklahoma lost, they shouldn't go in. But their loss looks really good for Missouri.

I never count that as a neutral field nor do I count the Florida-Georgia Jacksonville games neutral field. That is like having George Mason play in Washington DC at the Verizon Center and saying that is neutral field. Oh and by the way, where is Boise State and where is Virginia Tech as far as their distances to Fed Ex Field. The Red River Rivalry at least have some fair distance between the two.

The Red River Rivalry is in Texas during the Texas State Fair. Even if it's equidistant between them, OU and their fans are surrounded by UT fans on all fans, at times hostilely (there've been cases where OU fans come out of the game with their tires slashed). It's neutral because they both get equal amounts of tickets to distribute. I don't know what the details behind the Boise and the V-Tech game was, but I know it was being called a neutral site game, so I did too, which you seem to have taken quite a bit of offense to as you're still on it.
But, truthfully, I don't really care if you don't agree with it being called a neutral field game, that's what it's gone in the record books as, so that's what I'll say it was for the purpose of that game. That's just another point we'll have to disagree on.

Speaking of FedEx Field, anyone want to explain why Penn State and Indiana are playing there in a couple of weeks? With Indiana being the home team?

I seriously don't know why you're taking it as a personal crusade. I already said I don't agree, and you're harping on it a week later.

Guys....stop. Seriously. You both are just spinning in circles and it is getting REALLY annoying. I was hoping I could at least go one weekend without seeing you two bitch about the same topic back and forth, but, obviously, I was wrong.

Sources are saying that Texas State, UTSA, Denver and Seattle will be receiving public WAC invites in the next 30 days and all four will accept. The later two are non-football schools and UTSA will start playing in 2011 in the Alamo Dome.

I don't even hate Boise. Boise deserves it far more than Oklahoma at this point, I'm just sick of the double standard. Oregon State is a good win because they were ranked at the time, but Texas is a crap win because, even though they were ranked higher at the time, they also lost to three teams, same as Oregon State. Two-loss Baylor is a good win, Florida State is a bad win because they've lost twice.
I was responding to someone else about the finances of Boise making it difficult for them to schedule games, as opposed to fear, and how that was likely a compromise, maybe give Boise more tickets and thus increase revenue while V-Tech no longer plays the game right at home, but for some reason it ticked him off enough that he brought it up a week later.
That's my last post on this subject, I see no logical reason why it was even brought up after he made his point the first time. If he wants to consider it as me grasping for straws, he can be. He drastically overestimates how much I care about the subject.

Guys...guys...we all know Bama is going to make their way back to the NC game. In which case, we'll welcome all on comers.

I concur. Even as much as non Auburn fan as I am, if Bama can't make it, I'll pull for AU to go. I will say though, that for either one to happen, both need to win all their games between now and the Iron Bowl. Even as much as I would love to see Ole Miss wipe the floor with AU this weekend...

So having more and more people feel ripped off every year is a good thing...might get them to reconsider the whole moronic process. The problem is, it'd be better to piss off, say, Auburn than Boise, as the SEC has more sway. Of course, everyone, including the NCAA, already knows that everyone but the BCS itself wants a playoff, they're just not listening. We already had a situation where an undefeated team was left out of the title game, sending a one-loss and a two-loss team in. Personally, I'd rather not see the players two undefeated teams get screwed out of a chance of a title just to remind everyone how controversial the BCS is, when everyone needs no reminder of it.

Camouflage uniforms? Awesome.
While the game has just started, Virginia's defense is playing quite well against Miami.
