I really don't know a lot of users that use Heracross. Which is strange, considering how freakin' powerful and useful it can be. Great typing, an amazing movepool (it learns Reversal, which is more than enough), and great base stats. Probably my favorite Bug type after Scyther.

My ex was a Heracross fan. It really is a useful Pokemon. But me... Pelipper is still my answer.

Also one of my favs, cause he's pretty much the only rare "event" type Pokemon I have (get him w/ the pre-order of Pokemon Coloseum on GC) Jirachi... cause he's just so damn cute. Plus Psychic/Steel is rare combo. Good lord, Jirachi is one of the most overused, rage inducing, flinch abusing little bitches I have ever had to face. I want to punch it in it's eye tummy. Iron Head.....Iron Head.....Iron Head.....Iron Head.....Iron Head.....Iron Head.....Iron Head.....Iron Head.....Iron Head.....Iron Head..... I'm so glad I stopped playing competitively a long time ago. Pretty cute though.

Starmie is a lot of things. Underrated is not one of them. Starmie is one of the most valued Pokemon in competition. It can learn Surf, Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, & Psychic along with Recover, Rapid Spin, & Confuse Ray. With its high base Speed & Special Attack, it can destroy entire teams with ease. Well yeah, but I was really referring to just general popularity, not "underused" (although this thread can be used for that too). From every Pokemon fan and player I've encountered over the years, not one of them really like Starmie. Read it's bio, it's so awesome. Do you want to know why people hate it? Frigging Misty with her way too powerful for that point in time Starmie.

I think you could say Tauros is a bit underrated. I only say this because I was battling a friend of mine with a couple of friends watching. We were both down to our final Pokemon. My Lv. 47 Tauros against his Lv. 52 Dragonite. Everyone thought it was going to be a one-sided fight and that Dragonite was gonna beat me down... until Tauros one-shotted Dragonite using Blizzard. Now, Tauros doesn't have the greatest Special Attack stat, but he can get the job done and surprise your opponent with the right moves and type advantages.

From what I remember of playing/loving Pokemon, Dragonite was way overused because of it's near legendary status, plus the Elite Four guy who had one would thrash you continuously with one. Reading these threads kinda makes me wanna take up Pokemon again.

I really don't know a lot of users that use Heracross. Heracross is awesome. He always has a guaranteed spot in my party. I think Kingler is underrated. Maybe not underused though, funnily enough.

That big Rollout using bastard pissed me off to no end. I haven't played in a long time, but I thought Croagunk and Toxicroak looked cool. I just finished EV training my Toxicroak not too long ago, it is cool as hell. Croagunk is awesome too, especially when he use to cock-block Brock (heh) in the anime. I also think Cubone and Marowak are very underrated. Not only do they look cool, but give it a +Attack Nature, maxed out Attack EVs, Swords Dance and let it hold a Thick Club, and you have one HELLUVA powerhouse Pokemon.

I stopped being into it after the original 150, well, plus Mew. But ones I remember.
Slowbro was good with me. Second type psychic were my favourite, because they could fight against many other types, and still have strong specials. Jynx I loved too.
Another one who was really good, and I learned from my cousin how good it was, was Chansey. Basically, to be unbeatable with Chansey was use minimize 6 times, til you couldn't use it anymore, then hit Seismic Toss. Chansey's low attack was a problem, but with Seismic Toss, it didn't matter, as it was based on how much HP your opponent had. And Chasney had such high HP, that the defense didn't matter. The biggest risk of course was having Chansey against a pokemon she was weak against, and hitting her before she could minimize all the way.
Plus, Chasney had soft boiled, so that really helped if you were hurt bad while trying to minimize.
