Was the time he defended the hardcore title in the Chuck E Cheese (or similar type restaurant) during the Attitude Era? That was Crash Holly wasn't it? That happened in 2000, so I guess it would qualify as Attitude Era. Fun Time U.S.A. in Brooklyn, NY...I used to go there for autograph sessions every time the WWF was in town. Great complex but a little overpriced. Closed several years ago. Made for a pretty memorable segment though.

Cactus Jack's goodbye promo from April 1998 before Mick Foley went back to being Dude Love. One of my favorite Foley promos of all time.

Doing standup somedy at a nursing home. And Al Snow's comments afterwards when he was just walking away with nunchucks in hand.

I just watched one I forgot about it was sept. 1999 and Val Venis was feuding with Steve Blackman and Val came to the ringside to do commentary for a Blackman match. Val previously took Blackman's dufflebag of weapons and brought it to the ring with him. Blackman then grabbed the bag without a fight and reached for a weapon to hit Shawn Staziak with and in the bag is a vibrator with is vibrating and going all over the place and Blackman eyes and yells what the hell is this? to Venis and gets school boyed for the 1-2-3

The Al Snow heel turn in late 1999. Why they didn't run with it was beyond me. He delivered a GREAT promo explaining his turn and put on great matches with Foley and The Rock for, like, three weeks. Then he becomes Head Cheese with Blackman. Bluh.
Pat Patterson as the guest ring announcer for Dude Love vs Stone Cold. "I won't even announce da other guy, because he's a BUM!"

The RAW where they started the Kane/Austin feud. The whole lead up was perfect with Foley getting fired first thing, then Taker giving a speech about how he deserved to be #1 contender, then Vince backstage shaking hands with Kane, and finally Foley coming back as Mankind.

* The Raw where the entire roster went on strike and had the Rock get Mick Foley re-hired. * Val Venis in "Saving Ryan's Privates" * Every time Ken Shamrock got "In the Zone" and flipped the f' out * Chris Jericho kidnapping Chyna and breaking her hand. That was a pretty big departure from how his character normally acted at the time.

* Every time Ken Shamrock got "In the Zone" and flipped the f' out I remember he faced Mankind at Judgement Day 1998 and Mankind was in the ankle lock in pain & then put the mandible claw on himself and passed out. And the Fink announced that Ken Shamrock was the winner as a result of the mandible claw and Shamrock snapped because he didnt win via ankle lock. Just watched the Angle/Benoit cage match and Austin was hilarious commentating and arguing with JR and Heyman was inbetween the two and just like JR stfu JR: He's getting a german suplex. Some guy I used to know got 10 of them last week. Austin what would you do if you were in that maneuver. Austin: Are you sassing me? JR: I would never sass you.

After the rather good Mick Foley vs Terry Funk match (which also featured great guest commentary by Austin), the Dude Love music hits and Vince comes out dancing with two strippers and holding the Dude Love outfit. Just the sheer act of dancing lures Foley back into his fold, and he taunts Austin with more dancing as they all head backstage as the show ends.
Vince was just so perfectly over the top and goofy during his dancing triumph.

Breakdown 1998 Triple Threat Cage match between Rock/Foley/Shamrock. It was the first show that Rock got a big time babyface reception. Canada loved him. The pop for his music and for the peoples elbow both caused Jim Ross to be like "Wow at the reaction!"
One of my favorite moments.

Made for a pretty memorable segment though. I really enjoyed it when Crash defended the Harcore Championship somewhere unusual. He did it at an airport, a laundromat, and Funtime USA. I really wish they would have done this more than the few times they did. I am not saying that they should have made it a weekly thing but maybe every two or three months have it defended in an unusual place.

This MAY be a classic Attitude moment, maybe not, but it's a favorite of mine.
Everyone knows the New Age Outlaws announcement skit by heart and did it along with them with no problem, but at Survivor Series 2000 (I think), Outlaws come out for a triple threat match against Headbangers and another team and I swear to God, there was a sign covering three rows up in the rafters of the ENTIRE Outlaws entrance spiel. Even JR just said in awe "That's the biggest sign I've ever seen!"
Just epic really.

Big Show and Stone Cold destroying the titantron. Big Show rips it down and Austin gets a huge hook and tears it apart.

Then he becomes Head Cheese with Blackman. Bluh. Agreed on the Al Snow heel turn. Really could have made him an upper midcarder or even main eventer but they just...pulled the plug immediately. About Head Cheese though, nobody seems to remember that after their initial success, the team suffered some losses. So Al Snow began doing a gimmick where he would go backstage during matches, and would come out dressed as Blackman, completely serious. It's why when he read his closing poem to Blackman (GREAT segment if you can find it)...he said "Two Blackmans were born. Boy did we suck."

Big Show v Paul Bearer during the Union angle, with Bearer just BEGGING for his life, literally, it was the most hilarious thing I'd seen on WWF programing. "I'M NOT A WRASSLER!!!"

The Dumpster ride was pretty memorable. One thing about the attitude era that was bad was there was a lot going on, and not emphasis on what it meant, but this was a huge exception. They really made a big deal of this, and I thought they were really hurt, like, legit, just the way it came off on television.
That was an awesome feud. The Outlaws vs Cactus and Chainsaw. As a matter of fact, reading through this thread, the New Age Outlaws were awesome.
Anyway, there was one match I loved, a hardcore match between Al Snow and Road Dogg. The match ended with a piledriver onto a wooden box out in the snow.
The hardcore matches were really good, and they usually had guys who were pretty creative. Raven's were my favourite, as he had some creative spots. Him and Al Snow had a good one, I think Al came off the stage with a rope like a pirate, landing into Raven. They messed with the pyrotechnics, and according to Raven (though he may've been making it up, but it seems plausible) that they were supposed to use a big firehose. But, had they did that, it would have set off an alarm for the fire department to come, and shut down the whole show. That would have been epic though. I mean, you want to talk about anything can happen. WWE Raw is stopped because the fire department shows up because things got too out of hand.
Oh, speaking of that. Big Show is the hardcore champion, and he's wrestling someone for the Hardcore Title. And during the match, like, 10 people come and try to win the belt. Eventually, Show gets alone with Essa Rios, grabs him, sticks him up against the wall, and pins him on the wall.

Mentioning Crash Holly... loved hi promo when he wanted to end the 24-7 rule because he had to constantly live in fear. He had a 5 o' clock shadow and looked totally frazzkled.
