Yes and No....
On the one hand, if he was able to do like Shawn Micheals was and put over the younger guys while still dragging out a 5 star match I think it'd be more tolerable.
On the other....he's rarely had non-injury time off I think he should take all the time he wants, enjoy his time with his family and IF he decided to return I'd be happy.

Yes... in the sense of his personality not being there.
No... in the sense of when he comes back he'll have nothing to do.

Its funny, every other time HHH has gone out, I have eagerly anticipated his return. Sure, he gets stale quicker than most now, but I always think back to his heel run and McMahon/Helmsley when he really was on the top of his game and I hope for a return to that sort of form.
That said, I havent cared one bit that hes not on now, but I wouldnt be angry if he showed up. Its just not a big deal to me.

I'll hop along the NO wagon..
If anything iam seriously dreading his return. I've really enjoyed Raw during his absence.
I wouldnt be that upset if he announced his Retirment later today

I don't want him to retire simply because of all the "GAME OVER" headlines we'd see. The same ones we see when he gets taken out, when he gets injured, when takes someone out, when he wins, when he loses, when he beats down someone, when he gets beaten down, when he loses a literal game he's playing, when he loses the game, when he changes his nickname, when he brings back his nickname, and when he buries someone.

Yes and no.
I do miss him as a fan because he loves the business as much as he loves Steph (and all his daughters - poor guy still wanted a son born on his b-day)...
but Raw has had some wonderful programming in recent months so it's not that they need him. Should he come back, I'll be happy to see him. If he doesn't...
take comfort in the fact that he put someone over on his way out that wasn't his age or older (Shaemus). That should say a lot to those naysayers that he doesn't do this.

Not at all.
The worst part is. You know when he comes back, he's going to burry Nexus in kayfabe breaking promos, then beat them in a 5 on 1 handicap match.

I have to agree and say no.
HHH has done everything there is to do, and these days has more to offer backstage than he does on camera.
However, if he wanted to come back as the Raw GM, I'd be OK with that.

As long as he doesn't try to do comedy, I'm fine with HHH. Otherwise, I can't stand him. The guy honestly thinks he's a comedic genius and has timing.. he doesn't.
But his entrance makes up for it.

I don't get people who say the main event scene is so much better without him. Short of WM25 he hasn't really been around the belt much. He fueded in the midcard of this years WM. Yet Orton and Cena are still around the main event. Those 2 make it as boring as anything. Thank God Barrett has the title shot and not Cena. Now just let Wade win and remove Orton from my TV and all will be right in my world.

When he was first "sidelined", I was a bit ambivalent, assumed I'd miss him in a few months, as per usual. Six months later, I just don't see where he'd go on the roster, and I don't have any ideas or dream matches, or even big, new matches that can be done. I'm not missing him as much, as say, after his 2007 layoff. I mean, HHH could go to Smackdown and tango with the real youth movement of the WWE. Ain't gonna happen, and alotta smarks would tremble at the thought of HHH on a brand with Hunter brand squash fodder/less established acts.

Yeah, I miss him. RAW has been good since he's been gone but I thought it was good for the first four months of the year for me too and he was around then. I just think on the whole, RAW has been good all year.
There's still a decent bit for him to do for me. I mean, I don't really want to see him go back to the Cena and Orton feuds anytime soon but he could obviously re-ignite his feud with Sheamus and have feuds with Barrett, Punk and Miz, all of which would help them and I'd also like to see him face Taker one more time too.

I say it in every one of these thread. Yes, I want him back on TV and very soon.
He should be the one to give Cena the pep talk to take out Nexus. The two of them spearheading RAW vs Nexus should be the way to finish that storyline. Maybe even draft in Sheamus as a third. That would be a great twist on that feud, and holds off the rematch for another big event.
