that's really bugged me lately.
The Bragging Rights match was actually kind of awesome in how it was done and how it was set up. Except one thing. Why on Earth does noone save their partners from a pinfall?
I mean, for the Nexus matches it was done to put over people on a non kayfabe perspective but no one tried to save anyone getting pinned. The Summerslam match of Raw vs. Nexus was really annoying for that.
For something like Bragging Rights, where they want to hype up brand superiority and unity, why do their partners not save them when they're being pinned by a move they know is the opponent's specialty? Or even try to come and save them but pace it wrongly?
I know, it's nitpicking and it might actually be due to time but it's my tiny gripe about these matches and it seems like the WWE is doing it ALOT lately.

I can definitely see where you are coming from. Though, to be honest, I'm just tired of elimination matches in general. If they do it at Survivor Series in three weeks, it won't mean squat.

I just hate how these guys could have 1-on-1 matches with each other that go 20 minutes and kick out from 2-3 of their opponent's finishers, interference from steel chairs, being rammed against tables, cells/cages, etc. But the minute they're in an elimination match, they're gone from one finisher every 5 minutes.
I know it has to be done for time considerations or these matches would be 3 hours long. But from a kayfabe perspective, it just looks silly.

Only explanation I can think of for it, and it's a weak one at that, is that the other members look at it as a chance for them to be the hero and saviour instead.

For SS, Team WWE didn't even like each other so helping each other wasn't their concern. As for Nexus, we found out the next night Barrett doesn't care about his cronies when he turned on Young so fast.
As for BR, same deal the wrestlers don't like each other.

Because if Smackdown vs. Raw has ever taught me anything, the match would have gone 3+ days. I HATE elimination matches these days now, because i'm always thinking of why doesn't anybody interfere and stop the pin? C'mon! DO SOMETHING!

When was the last time someone was disqualified for breaking up a pin attempt?

When was the last time someone was disqualified for breaking up a pin attempt? Not exactly Pin attempt but Deuce and Domino where disqualified for breaking the 5 second tag rule against London and Kendrick back in 2007. How often does that happen?

I can't recall a time anyone has been disqualified for just breaking a pin.

Survivor Series is definitely going away. It's gonna be like the Divas title - they had both female titles for a few years, but then they decided to simplify it all into one condensed title. Bragging Rights is the new Survivor Series, and the only reason they brought SS back this year (since it was originally axed) is probably because it's the 20th year of Undertaker. But now with all his injuries, and the Buried Alive finish, he probably won't even be there.

Okay, I can't find any details of that match ever happening. Do you remember when it took place? EDIT: Nevermind, found it. Okay, Cor-Von was disqualified for breaking the 5 count. So that doesn't count either.

I'm still trying to figure out why no one on Team Raw laid Rey out when he was doing 619s and slingshot splashes like 3 feet from their corner

I always think of this point and the original post point, while watching survivor series every year. I think to hard about these things and it embaresses me.

I can't recall a time anyone has been disqualified for just breaking a pin. I remember JBL getting DQed for breaking up a pin in a tag match once. Think it was the RAW before GAB2008, when he teamed with Priceless against John Cena and Cryme Tyme. After his DQ, he got Cena to chase him out to the parking lot, where he attempted to run Cena over with his car.
