____________ - Michael Cole This, a thousand times this. But my least favorite aspect of Michael Cole isn't his repeated catchphrases, "Vintage Person X.... Shoulder's down, there's the cover, kickout at two-and-a-half... you're watching the longest running weekly episodic show in prime time history...," it's the fact that he has no clue what moves the wrestlers are using. When J.R. was the commentator, he could tell you what any move was, what tapes the wrestlers were watching to pick up on it, the wrestlers who used the move, and how it relates to their strategy. Michael Cole just uses the names of the signature moves, and sometimes not even that. Remember when he called Undertaker's Hell's Gate submission hold "that move" at the main event of Wrestlemania XXIV? That shouldn't be allowed to happen.

That's because Michael Cole is clueless half the time he don't know what he is saying. I bet you Vince McMahon yells in his ear all the time when he mess up or something.

"...in this very ring" used by just about everyone who was ever a pro wrestler. I just wish once a wrestler would say that he's going to beat his opponent in a ring across the street.

Vince always says something cool after "quite frankly"
Vintage is one of those things that is so overused it has to be banned from television.

To be fair, at WM24, the move hadn't been given a name yet and it's not like Cole is going to know what a gogoplata is, so I'd give him leeway on that one.

"controlled frenzy" pisses me off so much. Oh man, there's one I never think of but once it's said, you sit there thinking, "Huh?" "Shoots the half" is another one, because 3/4ths of the time, they aren't. Pushing a guy over for the cover is NOT "shoot the half". It's a reference to a half-nelson, you clod; it's an amateur wrestling move. Ask Daniel Bryan what shooting the half is and he'll gladly give you an example. (The 1/4ths they actually DO shoot the half, it isn't even mentioned.)

Yea, nothing except "And I quote" comes close. When "WWE Universe" started, it sucked, but like most shit this company does I expected to get used to it or at least be able to tolerate. Not this time. Its so cheesy and makes me embarassed to think that Im a part it.

*Beep Beep*
"Excuse me, if you please. I just received an e-mail from the General Manager."
I think the reason everybody popped when Chris Jericho lashed out at Cole was because everybody was thinking the same thing. "Of course you got an e-mail; just read it you idiot!"

- Whenever Cole mention that "Randy Orton is hearing voices in his head". - "*wrestler X* IS ROLLING? CAN HE KEEP IT UP!? WE'LL FIND OUT WHEN *insert show here* CONTINUES!" Always said in turbospeed. The best part about that is when they come back from the break, the wrestler who was"rolling" is now in a headlock on the mat or a similar rest hold.

I was watching Rey's dvd, the match with Matt Hardy from SD 03. Matt put Rey in a single leg crab. Cole states "He has him in a move, it's sort of a half boston crab!" Tazz responds "No, that's what it is, a single leg crab!" Good going Cole.

When Michael Cole says "HE'S TRYING TO ROLL HIM ONTO HIS BELLY!"
It's his stomach FFS, belly sounds WAY too childish, and takes away from the severity of the struggle.
