I love his mic work (and his ring work). He has an air of authority about him that makes him an immediate fit both as a main eventer and a leader of a faction.

awesome. He's great on the mic in every way possible. He reacts to the crowd well, he's good at being threatening, good at being a dick, and good at getting his point across.

I think his mic skills are amazing and he talks like he believes in what he's saying. I do think though, after some more exposure he will be exposed for being an "okay" wrestler. I've only ever seen him punch, kick, and do his finisher. I think he's boring in the ring. (With the exception of his nearly botched finisher to Marc Henry which he salvaged into, "Wow; I can't believe he pulled that off.") You should watch his match with Cena at Hell In a Cell a very good match

He's not as good as Regal, but he's ok. About the "wind" thing: as if that shit wasn't staged. He was the best talker and they gave him something to showcase that. He might have come up with it by himself but that's it. I don't believe ANYTHING on "reality" TV.
The guy has grown on me, but he's not as great as everybody thinks he is.

I'm still not sold.

Does no-one else think that because Jericho was his pro, it greatly helped?
The delivery is impeccable, and perhaps Jericho gave him a few pointers?

He might have come up with it by himself but that's it. I don't believe ANYTHING on "reality" TV. I can understand your skepticism, but at the time they were trying to push Otunga as the stronger talker, and he looked like a complete tool (not just in how he said it, but in what they gave him). That's the only reason I think it's possible it wasn't a work. Even if it was given to him, he still made it work better than it had any right to.

He's great. But he needs a beard. Not a big Knox-beard, or anything. Just a beard. The lower half of his face seems naked.

I've been a fan of his since the perfectly-timed 'winds of change' speech on NXT Season 1. His improv is arguably what convinced WWE Creative to go for the whole Nexus angle in the first place (unless it was a staged promo, that is).
If it was a staged promo, for the love of god why won't they script any of Kaitlyn's or Aksana's promos?!?!
