If/When they do a best of Nitro 97 disc, they better put a bunch of the "Sting Moments" in there.

I'm interested in the Valentine DVD, but then again I love obscure, mid-card stuff. I can not possibly imagine that much of a market for Greg "The Hammer" Valentine otherwise.

After all these years, WWE has yet to release a Jericho DVD. Pathetic It's a damn shame. What came out this past Tuesday?

I saw the list and the only one that jumped out to me that I'd buty the day its released is GREG "THE HAMMER" VALENTINE... A pre-WWF , NWA matches vs Flair, Wahoo and Steamboat would be awesome... WWF stuff, give me a Tito match (not one already released) Maybe a dream Team matcup vs Windham & Rotundo or The Bulldogs... Valentine vs Backlund (match where many thought Valentine won the title).. Throw in a match versus anyone from MSG, or Boston Garden or Spectrum... A match versus Ronnie Garvin and a rhtym & Blues match for fun, Obviously Piper dog collar, would have to go on as its one of his most legendary matches and Hell Yeah, I'd buy that in a second... Valentine easily is one of the most underated wrestlers of all time in my book..
As far as comments about Valentine gets a dvd before Dibiase... Id think the WWE is holding out until they buy Mid South/UWF library for that one

Hope that's not a final list. I really want another Best of Raw set. The first one was a ton of fun.

Best of Nitro and the US title one are going to be must buys for me.
The Goldust one will be good depending on what it contains. If it's just matches from ppvs I've already got I'll pass, but if it's got a lot of Raw and SD stuff I'll buy it.

Unless they can get some Memphis stuff and matches I haven't seen, Lawler could be a letdown. Really want the Kauffman craziness too. Maybe the E can get in touch with NBC/Worldwind Pants and approve of the release of the Late Night segment. Actually Worldwide Pants doesn't own any of "Late Night with David Letterman". NBC owns that lock, stock, and barrel. Letterman does own Late Show with David Letterman on CBS (along with the "Late Late Show"). So they would just have to get NBC/Universal on board. Which hopefully shouldn't be too difficult seeing as how WWE has a business deal with them in place. The DVD is ONLY gonna contain David Flair matches! And the documentary will basically be: Part I Birth of the U.S. Title is born and some stuff happens. Part II The David Flair Era of the U.S. Championship. Part III Some other stuff happens Part IV Stephanie McMahon revives the U.S. Title.

There is enough matches to watch the internet so personally I have no interest in WWE produced DVDs which only contain matches. I prefer the documentaries.
But Greg Valentine? Hell for most of his WWE run he was just a midcarder. He had a few big moments in his career, mostly before his WWE run excluding his IC run , but an entire dvd ? Huh? He was never really that big of a name. They should make a Johnny Valentine dvd before a Greg Valentine one.
Im still wondering if Vince will eventually put out a best of Midsouth/UWF dvd

Does wwe have the old Memphis library? I think it's really unclear who owns what and what even still exists from Memphis. It came up in the Lawler thread but someone mentioned how at one time, they just kept taping and re-taping over one tape until the tape broke. Even if all the rights issues are cleared (and I'm thinking between the Jarretts, Lawler et al., there are a lot), there may not be much left by now.

Valentine DVD? Is there really a market for that. You'd figure there would be more of a market for a Malenko DVD... WWE please make a Malenko DVD

If you're gonna make DVD's based on guys like Greg Valentine, then make them WWE Shop exclusives, and give them a limited run. That way they can at least become collectors item. I can't a see a rep from like Walmart or Best Buy wetting their pants in excitement that a Greg Valentine DVD is gonna be in their store. You can say the same about Goldust too really.

Apparently this comes from WWEDVDNews.com 100 Craziest Moments Goldust Jerry Lawler Greg Valentine Randy Orton Big Show Best of WCW Nitro History of DX Divas History of the US Title 100 Craziest Moments - I'll probably pass. Might rent it on Netflix if it shows up on there, but I usually don't like this kind of thing well enough to buy it. Goldust - This will get some strong consideration from me. Depending on how it's presented, I could end up buying this one. Jerry Lawler - If they can work out the Memphis footage debacle, buy. Greg Valentine - Actually one of the more interesting items from the list for me. Give me a good match listing and hopefully a doc where he talks about his career and his father for a bit, and I'm picking this up on release day. Randy Orton - I'll pass. I don't think the guy's horrible or anything, I just can't get interested in the thought of buying a Randy Orton DVD. Big Show - Possibly. Depending on what's on it. If they cover the Bossman feud, I'll definitely buy it. Best of Nitro - If done correctly, I'll definitely buy it. History of DX - Pass. Just like the other DX releases. Divas - Pass. History of the US Title - If it goes back into the NWA times (as they laughably did with the world title DVD, though I'm not complaining) I'll definitely buy it.
