And it was f***ing awesome!
I had some pretty good seats, and I thought the show was great. Going to Monday Night Raw in Wichita's new Intrust Arena was a great setting and time for my first ever event.
My favorite part of the night was easily Goldust and DiBiase. Me and my friends called that from a mile away and were just waiting for it to happen. I marked so hard. Goldust is one of my favorite wrestlers in the WWE now, and due to last night possibly of all time.
And I love Battle Royals. Battle Royals, Royal Rumbles, World War 3, are all matches I love. I mark so hard for them. I am really happy my friend was able to invite me, and happy another friend gave us a ride.
I am happy that last night was my first experience at a live event. But now I want to ask what your first live event was.

2008 Smackdown house show in Richmond. It was absolutely amazing to see these guys live since watching them in person really makes them seem larger than life.

2002 Smackdown with Chris Jericho vs Hulk Hogan for the Undisputed Title. Awesome. As a long time Hogan fan as a kid, and a Jericho fan since he came to the WWF I was in heaven.
I think this was the last WWF show on TV but I'm not sure. I recall on RAW the next week they were WWE.

Raw was quite different last night, bet it was awesome in person.
My first show as in 97 the Raw after Final Four, where Sid won the title from Bret. I also met the Rock.

Since this is a WWE thread, I'd say my first Raw was December 21st? 2009. Whenever Johnny Damon was guest hosting. I think it was the 21st.
I had never been to a wrestling event, but going to Monday Night Raw, live, was pretty spectacular I'd say. Probably not the greatest of shows, seein' as Raw wasn't to great back around that time.
But seeing Bourne do the SSP live was phenomenal. And... that is really all I remember of the night.
And some DX/Hornswoggle thing. I think that was when they went underneath the ring? Possibly.

I had a chance to go to King of the Ring 98, but I broke my glasses wrestling with my brother and we weren't allowed to get tickets. This is still one of the biggest disappointments of my life as that HIAC made me a fan for life, and Foley my favorite wrestler. I can only imagine if I was there...

I barely had my first live event in July too(RAW World tour Houston)...so surreal...I woke up the next morning asking myself if it really happened Then I saw the newly purchased Orton shirt on a chair and the sign I took in a corner and said "Oh Hell Yeah" with a big smile on my face ;D It was a house show but I couldn't even tell..except for pyro and the big RAW set missing the actual show was off the charts. The Toyota Center was packed too. The biggest pop was for Goldust. And the best reaction to a match was the match Goldust was in vs Dibiase What really made my night was when 2 kids were walking up the stairs and as they passed by the one in front said and I quote "I still can't believe it." His friend behind him said "Believe what?" The the the boy in front replied "That we are actually HERE and going going to have WWE superstar's feet away from us." Knowing that they were experiencing the same feelings as me made that night way more awesome

My first ever show was a RAW house show in July of 05.
We sat next to Sign Guy (didn't know who he was at the time - he wasn't famous yet) and Chris Jericho took one of his signs and did a promo with it before his match with Batista. That was cool.
Another highlight included Eric Bischoff pointing to my friend and saying "look at this dumbass" during his promo.
World Heavyweight Champion Chris Benoit defeated HHH in the main event. He reminded us after the match that "Chris Benoit is for real." I dunno what to make of that, but thought is was worth mentioning.
Good show. I also took this video clip. The conlusion of an IC title match between Edge(c) and Randy Orton.

My first event was a RAW Live event that happened the day after Christmas in 2006 in Albany, NY (then the Pepsi Arena). Two major highlights were a F4W Ladder Match with Shelton Benjamin, Carlito, Jeff Hardy, and Johnny Nitro, plus a six man tag that turned NO DQ with DX and Ric flair versus Rated RKO and Kenny. Cena and Umaga was the main event, and it was a damn good main event. Of all Live events I've been to, this is the best one with the one from MSG this past weekend a close second.

My first live show was called 'Revival' a British show in London, February 9th 2002.
Eddie Guerrero & Brian Christopher were on the card along with Nikita (Katie Lea Burchill), Doug Williams, Jody Fleisch, Jonny Storm, Robbie Brookside. I don't remember a great deal about it except Brian Christopher was a massive douche and stormed out of an autograph signing.
My first WWE event was Rebellion 2002. Edge vs Brock Lesnar & Paul Heyman in a handicap match for the WWE title.
Also I got to see John Cena in a rare transition in his career. He'd just turned heel but was not yet wearing the jean shorts or rapping.

The first one I went to was in august of 2001 for a smackdown taping. It was during the whole invasion angle. My dad suprised me with the tickets and i just marked out for the whole thing. We got really good seats at the staples center. We got 3 dark matches, four heat matches and then a whole two hour smackdown taping with a match between Jackie vs ivory with stacy keibler and torrie willson in Ivory's corner that was original supposed to air on tv but didn't for time constraits. I bring this match up because Jackie after the match stripped all 3 of the women down to there bras and panties. What a sight!!!
Also there was a great 6 man tag elimination match between Kurt Angle and the hardys vs Steve Austin and the Duddlys. It was a fantastic night.

A house show in Kitchener, Ontario, on Boxing Day 1993. I don't remember much, but the card apparently was as follows:
Owen Hart defeated Adam Bomb The Smoking Gunns defeated the Red & Black Knights (Steve Lombardi & Barry Horowitz) Shawn Michaels defeated the 1-2-3 Kid The Undertaker defeated WWF World Champion Yokozuna via disqualification WWF IC Champion Razor Ramon defeated IRS Rick & Scott Steiner defeated WWF Tag Team Champions the Quebecars via count-out Randy Savage defeated Crush
I remember most being astounded that HBK gave 123 Kid a piledriver off the top rope. Kid did a stretcher job, even.

ECW/Smackdown 2007 in Cincinatti. Got the seats right next to where they come out. Marked out when CM Punk won his first championship, and basked in the greatness of JoMo's abs.
Didn't really remember much about what happened at Smackdown (other than amazed at the Great Khali's height. I was 11 okay) It was a great night for me, and I was too excited to go to sleep.

Mine was a Monday Night Raw from the 02 Arena in London, the week after Santino debuted. Most of it was great. The Heat they taped before had a great card. Got to see Jeff Hardy, and the World's Greatest Tag Team. The Raw itself started great, Shane McMahon doing coast-to-coast was a highlight.
Ended up being slightly disappointing due to Randy Orton's antics getting a match between him and Edge kicked off the card, despite being advertised earlier that night. Was more interested in seeing Edge than Orton. Anyhow, instead, we got Shawn Michaels versus John Cena for an hour. So many restholds. Even if we didn't get to see Orton, his spirit was alive in that match... I was rather astonished when people were calling it a great match online.
Nevertheless, it was a fun night all round.

The first smackdown after Mania XX. Awesome show. They did a concept where they had a mini tournament. Simply defeat your opponent, move up, face the winner, then you got a wwe title shot in the main event. From what I remember..
Tony Chimmel announces Brock Lesnar leaving. Cena vs Rhino for US title (cena won) 1. Charlie Haas vs. Shelton Benjamin (yes, they were a team at the time too. it was awesome. not gonna lie, they both worked awesome together. benjamin won) 2. APA vs Scotty 2 Hotty and Rikishi (titles on the line. if apa lost, farooq was fired. apa lost.) 3. Rey Mysterio vs Big Show(not bad. typical match, wasnt anything new between the two. Interference by Cena. Big Show lost to count out) 4. Benjamin vs. Rey (Rey won) 5. Eddie Guerrero vs Rey Mysterio for wwe title (Hardly remember this. eddie won. then taker came out and tombstoned both of them.)

Here's the card to the Feb 17, 1997 Raw...
Marc Mero defeated Savio Vega by Disqualification... Rocky Maivia pinned Leif Cassidy... The Headbangers defeated The Hardy Boys... Owen Hart pinned Flash Funk... Bart Gunn defeated Intercontinental Champion, Hunter Hearst Helmsley, by Count Out... Sid defeated Bret Hart to win the World Heavyweight Title.
Notes: Owen/Funk was match of the night... it's interesting to look back on an early Hardy Boys match... Sid/Bret had to be started 3 times, because of Steve Austin... Chyna made her second WWF appearance... Non televised segment with Sunny trying to seduce Rocky, which was odd... Sid was the most over person, followed by Bret... though Austin would turn weeks later, the crowd still mostly treated him as a full heel...
