Punk's music is utterly generic, which worked passably when he was a whitebread babyface, but fit terribly when he transitioned into being an evil cult leader.

Melina's theme while she's a face. Don't say that! Ignore how fitting (or unfitting) that theme is, for to identify it as such, you're ultimately going to be the butterfly-effect-esque catalyst to annihilate yet another vestige of the MNM gimmick. First they'll change the theme...then they'll eliminate the triple crucifixes...and then they'll just wipe out the whole entrance altogether! We really don't need that, do we?

John Morrison, a Jim Morrison knockoff in character, entering to a Jimi Hendrix knockoff. I would've expected a knockoff theme to "Break On Through (To The Other Side)".

Speaking of Hendrix, i noticed on Jericho's dvd that they redubbed over Voodoo Child with Real American, and as much as i love that song, it did NOT fit Hogans entrance (since with the hendrix theme he did the air guitar).

Austin using his usual theme as a heel. Personally, hearing the glass break and the music going will always get a face reaction. Didn't his theme change when he was with The Alliance?

Even tho they no longer exist I prefer Trent Barreta's bittersweet symphony as a entrance for Dudebusters.

-Kidman's WWE rap theme. Never understood that.
-Regal's "Real Man's Man" (although that was sort of the joke) and later on that twangy rock song he briefly had in the mid-2000s. That one definitely fits the bill for this question.
-Jack Swagger.
-Daniel Bryan's first theme
-Ted Jr's current theme, as well as New Day with his current gimmick.
-That final version of "Priceless" used for Rhodes/DiBiase. It was like some needlessly heavy metal version of their much better song. Speaking of that, the first version of Priceless, too. It was just a rip-off of Pink Floyd's "Money".
-One of Austin's many brief themes post-Invasion. They were okay, but his traditional theme was just too definitive to change.
-Raven's Offspring song he used in ECW. I like the song a lot, but felt his WCW knock-off of Nirvana was a better fit.
-Rey Mysterio's old "detective" style WCW theme song. Too literal IMO.
-Finlay using Horny's music. His old theme was good, and that one Celtic rock song he used for one week in '08 was AMAZING.
-If it counts, Kane's rap song. For obvious reasons.
-Nexus. I feel they should have a theme that doesn't sound like it belongs on the menu of a Smackdown vs Raw game. Lyrically it works, but I think they could've done way better for them. An instrumental, perhaps. But hey, it beats coming out to "Wild & Young".
-Orton coming out to "This Fire Burns", which was obviously later used for CM Punk. Pretty drastic change from his "hey!" song.
-Victoria's sped-up version of "Lady to Mess With". Hell, that song all together. The Tatu song was perfect for her.
-That weird ass Shawn Michaels song on WWF The Music: Vol 2. You know what I'm talking about...

This is WCW and this may be the point, especially with the stupid angle involved, but this didn't fit Booker T in every sense of the word:

Ride of the Valkyries. Its a terrible wrestling theme. Would you rather him have "Waterloo" from ABBA?

Monty Brown's awful fake soul music on ECW. He was meant to be a beast and an "alpha male" power guy, just totally didn't fit at all.

Though changing it would have been dumb, Shawn Michaels' "Sexy Boy" theme really didn't fit his post 2002 character.

Ride of the Valkyries. Its a terrible wrestling theme. I suppose you think "Also Sprach Zarathusa" and "The Great Gates of Kiev" are bad themes too.

Yes, but post WM17 heel-turn during the Two-Man Power Trip he was still using the Disturbed version of his classic "Stone Cold" theme.

Tiffany's theme when she was ECW GM was hilariously bad. More authority figures need to come to the ring to tunes that imply they're nymphomanics.
