Well, he never said that Chet Lemon was retiring.

It's sad but it was only a matter of time if it's true. I wonder if TNA will even try to write him out of the storyline? Nash has been hilarious for most of his TNA run though, redeeming himself for his WCW sins and a not so great WWE run in 2002-03. He and Steiner are much alike in that regard.
Nash sometimes balked at doing the job for some people in TNA, but mostly I enjoyed how he worked with the younger guys and even when TNA was at its worst you could rely on a silly Nash segment or promo to entertain.

The best pure stryker on this board will be really happy if this does happen. After the way he came through for both Scott Hall and Sean Waltman and helped arrange their rehab through WWE I've warmed to the person somewhat. I still have a low opinion of his wrestling, promos and attitude, but given he's getting out of the business healthy and able to support his family I'm happy for him, and I I fully congratulate him for getting out of the absolute abomination TNA has become.

If it is true thanks for all the memories. He had a good run and I found him entertaining on the stick. I agree I wish he take over at the anounce table.

Wasnt it just like six months ago everyone hated him and wanted him gone for bringing the band together and holding the young tag-teams down? I never liked his dont give a sh#t promo style or his arrogant attitude, and he should not be wrestling in matches with his bad legs.. So I wont miss him very much. And I hate to say that because I used to be one of his biggest fans when he was in WCW.

I really doubt it; I think Nash is turning heel and being part of this conspiracy at the PPV.

I always loved you Big Sexy. One of the best entertaining big men in the history of the biz. He was no Bret Hart but he sold, he worked the mic, he perenially over and the man knew how to wring every last dollar and cent out of a promoter. Thanx for the memories I hope your retirment is as pain free as possible

Isn't he still in contract negotiations with TNA. I think it's all part of his 'negotiations' and would be surprised if he really retires.

I really hope he isn't retiring. He's one of the best, and guys like him are why I watch TNA. If he does retire, though, he needs to get a deal with WWE so he can still show up in some capacity from time to time, including a much deserved HOF induction.

I hope that Kevin Rash retires soon, but I don't think I'll be so lucky.

I've always liked Kevin Nash and it's going to be sad to see him retire but he's had a nice long career.
TNA cemented him as a legend imo. Why he never got the belt "one last time" I don't know.

Since TNA has been playing the Twitter work game like crazy lately.
I wouldn't be surprised if this works in somehow. Nash getting lowballed by Bish and Hulk..

I guess I've become jaded towards the bigger names from ever really retiring. Anytime I see that being said or typed, I have a vision of Ric Flair in his Nature Boy robe sitting in a recliner with a bowl of popcorn on his crotch getting a phone call from the IRS telling him he still owes them money.
Not saying Nash has tax problems, but I guess you could replace the IRS with 'zesty Asian hookers'.

From his Twitter- "Hogan is a BEAST to see the cuts on his back and to see his pain tonight tells me that I was right when I saw the Hulkster as a mark and wanted to get in this crazy biz. Mad respect Terry, if you were a fan of mine please stay true to TNA my deal went south on money not respect for the guys I worked with or the production crew that busts there ass every week. I'm not out of wrestling just don't want to be owned. to the boys that I love I will do everything I can to make you money outside of TNA . Please guys remember we're 1099 the world is ours. goodnight I have my last Impact tomorrow I can't express how much you all mean to me ,I love you all and thank you"
