So Joe is jobbing once again, and Hogan will wrestle, and Pope is now the lacky of the Wolf pak. Exciting.

With all the people Flair and Foley have NOT wrestled, why rehash something WWE did just a few years ago, with each of them in far better condition than they are now, and with a much better build?

So Pope, who is more over than 95% of the TNA roster (I'd only put AJ and Anderson over him right now) is being turned heel, however is with two guys getting cheered despite being heels and now Jarrett, Pope and, Joe are going to have to carry Sting, Nash and a currently hospitalized with back injuries from picking up seashells Hogan to a decent match at BFG?
Why?

Bound For Glory is essentially TNA's WrestleMania, right?
Looks like it's going to be something like WM13, one great match (Gen Me v MCMG) standing out among a bunch of OK-to-average matches.

I still think Sting & Nash are gonna end up being the babyfaces all along. Jarrett & Hogan are turning.
I have no idea about Joe & Pope in this whole thing, though.

Why? Sting and Nash don't need to be carried, really. Sting's never really been one to have bad performances, especially at BFG, and Nash can still wrestle his big man style well. Hogan, yeah, but all he has to do is Bret Hart it and let everyone else do most of it.

I'll give you Nash, though I do think he needs someone to make his stuff work and I don't think Hogan and Jarrett are those guys, but, I haven't seen anything out Sting since, probably the Angle match a few years back that makes he think he's still got it.

I thought Hogan said he was done wrestling? Does he really expect to be able to do anything in a match when he ended up hospitalized picking up freaking sea-shells?
The rest of the competitors are fine but I would much rather see Pope doing something else and staying a face.

Really turn the Pope heel. How stupid can TNA be to turn a guy who is more over then just about every face on the roster. Not only that put a guy who right now is in a hospitial with back problem in a match. Hogan can't do anything in the ring right now. That match is going to be trouble and should not be on the TNA biggest PPV. Just because the stat of Hogan.

It's more disgruntled than anything, and Nash and Sting scooping him up for their cause. Course, it could change when 10/7 rolls around, but it's not like Ey where he hit someone with a chair to turn to join the Band.

Nash and Sting are all about the money. Pope is pissed he did not get a spot in the title match. I am interested as to why aj can beat kendrick, but morgan cannot.

Isn't incredibly premature to book Hogan in a match? Sure, he's not going to be bumping or anything, but he's currently in hospital. Who knows what sort of shape he'll be in in only a few weeks?

Both Joe & Pope are being wasted in the Geezer Feud. Both deserve so much better. With how Anderson treated him at the PPV, how in the hell can TNA just have Pope move on? That just makes him look like a bitch.

Bret Hart, a stroke victim who can't take ANY bumps due to risk of serious permanent complications and messing up his insurance deal, has had several "matches" in WWE and even a US title run since his return. Is it stupid to book a match around a guy who is basically immobile and untouchable? Yes. Is it impossible? Not at all....

Yeah but the thing is TNA management in storyline terms did in fact give Pope a chance. In fact a few chances. He won the 8 Card Stud tourney and got a shot at Lockdown, but he jobbed. He was in the tourney semis at No Surrender, but he jobbed. This is where these goofy "I am being held down" angles don't work. It presumes that the viewer knows that wrestling is a work, which is the exact opposite of how to book wrestling. It's a bit heelish for Pope to get chances at the belt and come up short, then blame management....but we're supposed to know he's being booked to job in these matches and is thus being held down.

He was in the tourney semis at No Surrender, but he jobbed. Ugh....If it were up to me, I'd ban the word "jobbed", cause it's really tiresome and people seriously don't know how to use it. And he didn't "job" at Lockdown, he got a pen in the eye by AJ to take him down. Except it has nothing to do with the "wrestling is a work" aspect. It's that he's having these big matches, and gets nothing in return. It's all on TV, and it fits well with the whole angle Nash & Co are pulling in the first place.
