Brodie "Glass Cannon" Croyle. He's got an arm, but he's made of glass. He almost won the Chiefs season opener against the Ravens last season. If he does start, Chiefs fans are already predicting a loss. Going to San Diego against what should be a pissed off Chargers team, even with Cassel I think the Chiefs lose. Ditto. When not hurt... I would say Croyle is passable as a QB. He could get the job done(as much as Cassell was at the start of the year anyway). But, of course, that is totally based on him being healthy... which might have been a quarter and a half over his entire career...

Wow...... So players get fined for illegal hits, and legal hits?! Is it any wonder James Harrison wanted to retire?

Quick fantasy question. Should I start Ten D vs. Colts or Giants D vs. Vikes? I'm leaning with the Giants as Ten has seems to quit on Fisher and Farve is really banged up.

This just in: James Harrison also fined $15,000 for Ndamukong Suh's hit on Jay Cutler.

Think it's time to bust out the jersey for tonight's game. I smell a bounce back. Facing the six feet under Titans also doesn't hurt

I fail to see how a team losing that many players to injury (they just lost yet another starter for the rest of the year this week) losing is all that funny. The fact that they are still relatively competitive is a statement about the team as a whole. The fact that the Chargers are doing so well with their injuries is even more impressive.

I'll laugh even harder if the Chiefs kick the Chargers' ass. I know it's my bias talking, but it'd be great to see the high and mighty and constant SB favorite Chargers get their asses kicked by division rivals two weeks in a row

Okay, I'm sick and tired of these talking heads going on and on about how Peyton Manning and the Colts are losing because of 15 people in the IR, yet The Packers have 13 or so players on the IR, but they're winning so nothing is said about the injuries. Maybe it's not the injuries for the Colts, maybe it's just that Peyton is sucking right now?

It seems like no matter how many people you guys have on IR, they find a way to dominate whoever they face. They're my favorite NFC team, and I think as long as Aaron Rodgers is QB they have a real shot at a SB sometime soon, maybe this year?

ESPN already has Favre stinking it up, the very last thing they want is Manning playing bad. Peyton's little brother may be a good QB at best, not an elite QB they want him to be.

Maybe it's not the injuries for the Colts, maybe it's just that Peyton is sucking right now? Total different set of circumstances. I mean I'm not totally going to excuse Peyton. Dude has thrown some lame duck passes the last few weeks. A couple of which were totally on him and unacceptable. But you can't compare the two teams. The offenses and the way Rodgers and Manning run them are night and day. Peyton isn't mister improvisation. He can't even get out of the pocket most plays. That Colt offense is all about timing and precise route running. The players that he's had go down this season are his major targets, besides Reggie Wayne. More so, players he's totally comfortable with. Not to mention that for all the hilarious talking heads now beginning to wonder if Peyton has hit his wall and is regressing, I can point out that he's still doing the things he's always done. He had the Colts within 20 yards of beating New England in another come back, who look like the best team in the league right now. He led a powerful drive to tie the game just last week against Dallas. Their loss to Jacksonville was on some absurdly long FG as time expired. He's doing this, in the face of being on a record pace throwing the football this season. His obsessively well oiled offense is in tatters, he's having to force throws on a pace that will inevitably set a record if it continues, and he's throwing to a guy I watched at Kentucky not 3 years ago as his biggest go to target since everyone knows they can just double team Reggie Wayne right now. All that, and they've been in these games (minus San Diego, which honestly is to be expected after the last four years) with a chance to win. We've seen this before actually. When Peyton had that off season surgery two or three years ago and he didn't have a pre-season or training camp with his receivers. They got off to a really bad start and had to win out just to get to those 12 wins. Taking a cog out of that team hurts it more than most. He's making mistakes, but it's going to take more than 1/3 of a season for me to say Peyton is falling apart or regressing to a level of suck usually reserved for the Jay Cutlers of the world. If this happens the rest of the year, and then the team is healthy next year and it continues, I'll get back to everyone. Right now it just strikes me as an irritating blip thanks to circumstances beyond his control.
