From Gerweck.net
ECW on SCI-FI posted a 1.4 rating for the July 4th show which featured the ECW world title match between RVD and BIG SHOW.
Now keep in mind that it aired on July 4.

ECW is doomedorz!!!!!!!1111one Well, I wouldn't say that now, but the holiday definitely played a part in it being so low. Then again, Raw last year on July 4th (featuring HBK's turn on Hogan) got a bigger rating as I recall.

I try to make it a point to always catch Raw and ECW if I'm home.. and I missed ECW because of the holiday. I imagine there are lots of people who did the same.

I was also out on Tuesday night and missed this.
Still higher than TNA though.

Raw's Rating was down .5 from the previous week, so it looks like the holiday did play a part in both shows. www.steveswrestling.com/info/rawratings.htmlAccording to this site it the RAW on July 4th, 2005 was LOWER than this year's RAW.

I read about it on PWinsider.com, they said that management is more than happy with that rating considering the holidays...

Next week will be the test to see if they can rebound from Tuesday's rating.
I think it'll get back up, but not way up, probably a 1.9-2.0.

July 4th 10pm....NYC, Boston,DC, Philly, all major East Coast cities were shooting off fireworks with hundreds of thousands of people outside. Midwest was just getting into celebrations, and West Coast was still enjoying BBQ. All in all I'd say 1.4 on July 4th was pretty decent.

I expect Vince to blame this on the debut of CM Punk.

Its a holiday, ratings are pretty much meaninless on a holiday as long as its not zero.
But Raw dropped about .5 in ratings this week, and ECW did the same. Nothing to be concerned about.

Not to worry, Vince will bring next week's rating back up with a Test/Knox Ironman match. He knows it'll draw big because he "always listens to the fans."
Oh, and look for Punk to tap out to Kelly's sharpshooter or something.
