Here is one that I have never heard on a radio before. The first 30 seconds or so are not that great but the rest is wonderful.
By the way the ones who done that one were the same ones who did Surfin' Bird.
Least Favorite: Santa Baby-Nearly everytime I have been in a store this year where they were playing Christmas Music this comes on. Wonderful Christmas Time-At one time I actually liked it but as time has gone on

I have many favorites but the best one to me: Happy X-Mas (War is Over) by: John Lennon. Shinedown's version isn't half bad either.
Worst is a three-way tie between The Christmas Shoes, that Paul McCartney/Wings song, and Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer.

The worst is any and all versions of 12 Days of Christmas.
Its an absolutely horrid song, and so, so long. I can't stand it.

I love "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer", but only the version done by the Irish Rovers. It's a bit faster than all other versions I've heard, and Jimmy Ferguson's low voice really sells some of the lyrics (especially the "and plays with elves" line).

Favorites:
-"Christmas With the Devil" by Spinal Tap
-"Christmas in Hollis" by Run DMC (surprised no one's mentioned this one, it's awesome!)
-"Alone This Holiday" by The Used (granted I dig The Used, but still)
-"Minty, the Candy Cane That Fell on the Ground" by Conan O'Brien's writing staff, I guess?
-Any of CKY's Christmas songs
-"You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch" or whatever its called, but only the version from the cartoon, and none of the covers
-"Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire" or whatever the hell the title of that one is, by either Darius Rucker/Hootie and the Blowfish, or some guy that sounds like Darius Rucker
-"All I Want for Christmas is You" by Mariah Carey, mostly because I enjoy the movie LOVE, ACTUALLY
Least favorites: ANY. OTHER. CHRISTMAS. SONG! They seriously all suck. But a special place in my heart is dedicated to anger over "Santa Baby" and "The Little Drummer Boy". If I have to hear parum-pa-pum-pum one more time this year, I'm jamming a drumstick down somebody's throat!*
*not really, but c'mon now

Favorite. Messiah, by George Handel. Technically, it's an Easter Song. But given that it requires some work in it's production, it wins. High Culture High Five. Least Favorite: Happy Christmas (War is Over). This is one of those songs that says more about John Lennon than about Christmas. Basically, he deigns to recognize it's Christmas, then demands we give an account of our deeds over the past year, like he's Santa Claus or something. Then he dispenses of that, and needs to demarciate us by whatever groups he can think of, and then finally get arounds to wishing us a joyless merry Christmas, before getting back to his demands. It reads more like a communique than a Christmas song.

No love for the who's "Father Christmas"? Worst: Baby its cold outside. Has WAYYY too many unsavory implications if you think about it too hard.

Favorites:
The Mighty Mighty Bosstones- This Time of Year
The Pogues- Fairytale of New York
Least Favorites:
The Christmas song parodies my dad was making up on Friday night while the radio was playing and he was HAMMERED! The songs he made up were like something between "Weird" Al Yankovich and John Valby. Except without the wit of the former, or the subtlety of the latter.

Fav. - Anything written or recorded before 1970. (The lone exception to this is the Muppets 12 days of Christmas, I really like that one.)
Least - Everything written and recorded after 1970 Special least nods to Do they know it's Christmas (I could go on and on about this one.) and that horrible Paul McCartney song.
