Fresh Prince of Bel Air perhaps? Oh man did that show have some clunkers in the last couple of seasons, as well as All in the Family IMO.

Maybe Sports Night? Some episodes had some sort of major inconsistencies as far as how characters were drawn (especially with regard to Dana!), but I wouldn't call any of the episodes bad.

Freaks and Geeks. I don't care it was 18 episodes long, it was still amazing.

Winner. I'm still waiting for the first one that's "off the mark."

Called out. The whole Wee Britain saga was beyond patronizing and jaded, and wasn't even played for irony, it was just standard American sitcom pulp. It's like it became a different show for five episodes.

I went from being a never-miss-an-episode fan to being unable to watch the show any more with these episodes, and like Family Guy it kind of retroactively soured me on the whole series (though I imagine if I were to watch seasons one and two again they would be good).

Being Human, although some episodes weren't as good as others I don't think there's been a bad episode, quite a few questionable moments in the last series though. Same thing with Sherlock however that's only had three episodes so far.
I agree with The Office, Fawlty Towers and Firefly.

I'm Alan Partridge, there were only 12 episodes but each was excellant.
Also, I can't really think of a bad episode of Top Gear.

None of them. Even the best shows have clunkers relative to their overall quality. You beat me to it. I was planning on coming back to this thread and posting this. Okay, while NCIS doesn't have really bad episodes, the earlier ones pale on comparison to those later on. At first, it was basically just Tony and Kate working off of one another, but then they brought on McGee as a full time character (after doing a couple of guest star spots) in Season 2. That worked pretty good, but in my opinion, I don't think the series really started to hit it's stride until Sasha Alexander decided that she was going to leave to do other things and they eventually replaced her in Season 3 with Cote de Pablo. That and bringing on Lauren Holly as Commander Shepard. After that, this character driven show really seemed to hit it's stride and take off. Also it helped that their forensic tech Abby Sciuto had more screen time ...

Winner. I'm still waiting for the first one that's "off the mark." Any episode that features more Jenna than Tracy and Kenneth falls into "off the mark", in my opinion. And there have been plenty of those the last couple seasons.

Fresh Prince of Bel Air perhaps? Oh and possibly Red Dwarf. As much as I'd like to, I can't agree with Red Dwarf. It kinda started to suck after Series 5. "Gunmen of the Apocalypse" Season 6 disagrees. ;D And now for another TV Series without a bad episode, British quiz show QI. If quiz shows are allowed that is. Because if they are, Crystal Maze, Gamesmaster, and Catchphrase as well.

Re: 30 Rock: Yeah, but how many Jenna episodes are there?
Arrested Development: "Lovely Rita Wee-brain" wasn't that bad. I mean, it wasn't the best moments of the show, but it was bad. However, "Prison Break-Out" may have been the most useless episode of any show I have ever watched.
Also, I protest the Office UK. That show was a serial, not a series. Miniseries and serials don't count, as they have a set number of episodes. A series, on the other hand, is an open ended project, coming up with new ideas over ten years is a little harder to do.

I went on a Twilight Zone kick a little while ago. I'm pretty sure I've seen every episode and can't recall a single bad one. Sure some are a little silly or weaker than others, but I think all of them are generally good episodes. . I don't know, I personally find the fourth season, with the hour long episodes, to be kind of a chore to sit through. Serling must have agreed because they went back to the half hour format for the fifth and final season. I've only been watching Doctor Who starting with Ecclesen, but I've yet to see a bad episode from him on.

I'm Alan Partridge, there were only 12 episodes but each was excellant. Also, I can't really think of a bad episode of Top Gear. The caravan holiday. So horribly over produced and scripted. There are a few other episodes which suffer from the same thing, but that's the main one.
