One of the things I look forward to on New Years day is the Honeymooners marathon on WPIX 11, unfortunately New Years happens to fall on a Saturday this year and because of our some contract obligations we are going to pay for it, not only will the marathon be intrupted by the morning news which I am used to by now, but Saturday morning cartoons. And they are all repeats non the less.
Dam WPIX, dam 4Kids and their Toonzi, could PIX just not show these cartoon repeats for one week.
I am royally pissed, way to ruin our tradition 4Kids. I have the Classic 39 on DVD, but still it is a bummer that is going to happen.

So you're complaining that it's going to be interrupted for about... 5 hours? You still get your Honeymooners. What's all the hullabaloo.

Wasn't it always interrupted by the news and concluded in the late afternoon the next day?
Form what I remember that seems normal. After all, the news starts at about 5 or 6am?
Besides after 4 or 5 hours straight I am already Honeymooner'd out.
Provides a nice little break. An intermission if you will.

What can I say, I am picky like that. Normally the news is 3 or 4 hours. But the news is the news, I would be nice if they just preempted the cartoons for Saturday, they are all repeats. If there were new episodes that would be something else.
Just a bummer for me, it is no big deal.

I don't think it will change the schedule too badly. The marathon will probably still finish at it's usual 5pm-6pm time on the east coast.
