The one where Homer takes Nappien and goes on about "Moooooood swings!"
It would have been funny if they stopped after the third "mood swing," but they milked it for, like, six more and killed the joke dead.

LOL. I did laugh when Moe was trying to put his head in the oven that one time. But I am perverted and dark. At Christmas, with "No Funeral" on his back? Yeah, that's awesome.

Agreed, but I'd be tempted to go even further back.

I never liked the gorge episode. Thought it just wasn't funny. I spent about 20 minutes thinking of something in the Simpsons (series 1-9) that I didn't like. It takes me equally as long to think of something I did like from seasons 9- to the most recent episode I seen. You mean when Homer tries to jump Springfield Gorge on Bart's skateboard? Yeah. I'm sure that it might have been iconic at the time, but when I've seen it, it looks dated. As I've said it's difficult to think of something before 'Trash of the Titans' for me anyways.

I've never laughed at any of the Fox 'jokes' that appear on The Simpsons, even in the earlier episodes I just thought they were kinda lame.

All of their drunk driving, crystal meth, and Iraq war jokes.
Unfortunately, these account for about 70% of the jokes on the show for the past five years or so.

Agreed, but I'd be tempted to go even further back. As a whole, I could stomach seasons 9 and 10 (although the one about Skinner being an impostor still baffles me, although I could at least understand their intent) Seasons 1 and 2 arent great, but 3-8 is Simpsons truly in his prime.

I hard forgotten about this, but remember the episode where Homer was on that diet, but decided to cheat on it, so Marge hired a reality TV show (with this gem in which a woman was on the show and said, "I've done everything except talk to him! Help me, reality show!") to see him binging on junk food.
Anyway, there was an entire scene where Homer was eating/making love to a flan on a stick, which was bad enough. To make things worse, the "end of act" gag was Homer calling said flan stick, which made no sense whatsoever.

One of the jokes that always bugged me because of it's stupidity comes from "Eight Misbehavin"
The zoo owner who takes Apu's kids is called Larry KIDKILL.
Lame.
