I would say the show Iron Maiden put on in 2008 was the best concert viewing experience I have ever experienced. Truly epic.

Bonnaroo 2008. Pearl Jam & Metallica were god-tier.

Guns n' Roses at the Allstate Arena in Chicago 2006. really really great show, long setlist. Axl was in top form. and Sebastian Bach was a good opener that got the crowd into it.

It'll probably change if I ever get the chance to see KISS live, but as it stands right now Queensryche with Rock Sugar opening up for them. Both bands were amazing live, and Geoff Tate is IMO better sounding live than on the records. Very interesting to watch, definitely not one that stands in one place the whole concert.

Ozzfest '02 easily.
I've been to some clunkers as well... Lit (remember them?) and No Doubt with the opening act of a then not yet famous and not yet good and not yet with Fergie, Black Eyed Peas.

This year's Sonisphere Festival in Knebworth.
As for individual concert, Iron Maiden in 06 with Trivium and Lauren Harris supporting.

So far, I'll go with Sleigh Bells/LCD Soundsystem in September of this year. But my concert experiences are usually in clubs, so I've never seen an epic stageshow live, like Muse.

The last P-Funk show I saw was pretty good. I saw Roger Waters in 2001 and that was probably the best concert I've ever been to.

White Stripes in Detroit in 2005 (Last show of the American tour that year I'm pretty sure) and Matthew Good in Detroit this year (Basically in a club with 200 other massive fans)

Ozzfest '02 easily. I've been to some clunkers as well... Lit (remember them?) and No Doubt with the opening act of a then not yet famous and not yet good and not yet with Fergie, Black Eyed Peas. Lit's first commercially successful album as Lit (after they changed their name from Razzle) "A Place in the Sun" remains one of my favorite albums to this day. "Lovely Day", "No Big Thing", and "Happy" get constant play on my iTunes to this day. ...and it can be easily debated that Black Eyed Peas have NEVER been good... I saw Boyz II Men just before they hit it big at an amusement park in Cincinnati (when I was, like, 8). They were great. Also along were TLC and MC Hammer (but Boyz II Men were truly the best performance). A girlfriend-ish took me to see Green Day/Blink 182 in 2001 (before American Idiot, when she was debating me that "they aren't going to be successful much longer, Dookie is no longer that big of a deal"). I'm not a fan of Blink so much, but they DID put on a darn good show. I've seen Weird Al Yankovic more times than I'd like to admit (okay... 5...), and each show has never had a lull. Best moment was when we got relatively good seats in Akron, and when he was asking for requests, me and my five or so friends screamed out, in unison, "ALBUQUERQUE!" He just stopped with his smile, looked right at us, and screamed "NO!". It was glorious! I then asked "Biggest Ball of Twine in Minnesota?" When I went to visit my folks in Southern Cali, they introduced me to a family whose son is the bassist for a band called "The Shys". He invited me to the show they had, and it was incredible. Few people knew who they were at the beginning, but by the end, everyone was singing along to "She's Already Gone". I suggest you check 'em out For the record, this was recorded before the dude joined the band, so he's not the bassist in the video. There's also quite a few local shows I go to here in Lubbock. The majority of it is garbage, but there's a few names who sound familiar when I check out Amazonmp3.com's free downloadable music like Bo Cox, Dallas Wayne, and Tommy Gallagher.

Traveling Circus and Medicine Show in Miami 2009 featuring Counting Crows, Augustana and Michael Franti and Spear Head. Absolutely incredible show. Each band was incredible.
Any time I've seen Iron Maiden live they have gotten better. They're the best live performance in metal.

Arcade Fire at the Hackney Empire in July this year. They filmed the video for "Ready To Start" there, and I'm in it.

Pretty much any Coheed show I've been to, except for Warped '07. That one wasn't so great.
My Chemical Romance performing The Black Parade was AMAZING.
Dir en Grey puts on a really intense show.
I'll probably think of more later, sort of drawing a blank right now.

Muse earlier this year.
My god is Muse an amazing act to watch. And considering we had amazing seats (in the pit, no less), I loved every damn minute of it.

The Stooges in 2007. Iggy Pop is still the man, and I got to see the late Ron Asheton perform as well.
I really need to see the current Iggy & The Stooges lineup in concert, they've got James Williamson on guitar and they're playing all the great songs from the Raw Power era. They were supposed to perform at this year's Sonisphere, but couldn't play their set properly due to a thunderstorm hitting the festival area hard right before they went on. This, of course, made me somewhat happy about the fact I couldn't be there... but yeah, I must see them sooner than later.
