Speaking of LeBron, another second half where the opponent is defensively held under 20 points for both quarters. Heat cruised to a win after that.
If they ever start doing that defensively for full games, watch out.

I thought "The Heatles" was kinda funny. He wasn't saying their influence or magnitude was similar, he just sid that they draw a good, vocal crowd on the road. And he isn't wrong, I don't think. Its funny, tongue in cheek. Why so serious?
Good win for the Knicks as well. I wonder how many games this season have seen three players on a team score 87 (!) points. Thats absurd, and Pop was right, San An's D was embarassing. Not to take away from the NYK, they are a beastly offensive team who will score 125 from time to time.

What's wrong with calling the heat nWo, LeBron? Maybe he hasn't referenced the team as such because not everybody would know or remember who the nWo were.

Tonight's results from the WCBA (World Championship Basketball Association):
The NWO defeated David Arquette. Arquette fought back after being down early to make a match out of it, before the NWO took over again. Hall (Wade) had most of the offense, pinning Arquette after the Outsider's Edge (Miami over Milwaukee 101-89).
Mongo went over Randy Savage. Surprisingly, this was a very high-octane match. It started out close, but Mongo slowly but surely pulled away, especially late. Mongo pinned Savage after the Mongo Spike (New York over San Antonio 128-115).
Eddie Guerrero squashed Jerry Flynn. Guerrero had all of the offense, and never relented. Guerrero got the pin after hitting the Frog Splash (Chicago over Toronto 111-91).
DDP beat Chris Jericho. This was also a high-octane match, with neither man ever having control. DDP countered the Liontamer and hit the Diamond Cutter to win (Memphis over Oklahoma City 110-105).
Lex Luger defeated Ultimo Dragon. Lex is still dealing with knee problems (no Dirk), but Dragon didn't take advantage, as this was a slow-paced match. But Lex gutted through, making Dragon tap to the Torture Rack (Dallas over Portland 84-81).
Booker T went over Disorderly Conduct. Conduct tried to once again make a comeback like in previous matches. But Booker T always had command in the match, so he held off the late comeback attempt (Atlanta over Sacramento 108-102).
Goldberg squashed The Nasty Boys. After an even first half of the match, Goldberg dominated afterwards, never relenting. Goldberg hit the Jackhammer on Knobbs for the victory (LA Lakers over Detroit 108-83).

Or if the ESPN runs a Heat ad starting with, "This ad was paid for by the New (or Miami) World Order"

According to multiple reports from league insiders, O.J. Mayo and Tony Allen brawled on Sunday's team flight over a card debt that Allen wanted to settle, leaving Mayo with a "swollen face" and possibly led to his absence for "bronchitis" on Tuesday.
It's unclear if the team reported the incident, as they are required to under NBA rules, and the immediate impact is likely going to be a suspension for both as the league looks to distance itself from the Gilbert Arenas situation last year. Otherwise, the fact that Allen still started Tuesday's game speaks volume about Mayo's standing with the team and his role in this incident, unless of course Lionel Hollins didn't know about it -- which is unlikely. Chances are Allen wanted to collect his debt while Mayo was still a Grizzly.

I like it. He's an athlete that's completely embracing the fact he's a heel. And I said it in the WWE forum, and I'll say it here, LeBron will make an appearance for the WWE this year. It will probably be after the season is over, but with how he's embracing being a heel I think the WWE will be able to get him.

Spurs NEED the win over Boston tonight. Its the real test of just how good we really are and to me could solidify the season and our spot at the top. Hopefully the defense is there tonight and people aren't so sloppy making shots.

Easily the most polarizing individual in the group, can be a huge star on his own or within the confines of the foursome. Dwyane Wade - Paul McCartney. For some, he's just as talented, if not more talented, than the other member in the group. Like McCartney's stay with Wings, or his solo career, Wade has proven that he can perform well on his own or with another dynamic team. Pat Riley - George Harrison. The quiet man, the straw that stirs the drink, always on the fringe of the group, never really diving in. Has proven that he can work well outside the confines of this current tandem, as an individual or with another super group. Chris Bosh - Ringo Starr. Not really quite sure how he ended up with this foursome, but he should be thanking his lucky stars that he got in at all. Perhaps they felt he was a better fit for this tandem than Pete Best (Amare' Stoudemire). Has yet to show any promise on his own or with a different group.

Lakers should be Zeppelin and Celtics should be the Rolling Stones. Oh, and the Kings are whatever band Keanu Reeves was in.

They made a mistake in the announcement, it's actually Taylor Griffin that's entering the dunk contest.
Everyone back to your normal lives, nothing to see here.
