I have to say it because I have been pretty hard on them during the season. But I have to give major props to my beloved Detroit Lions. They played with tons of heart all season, despite coming up short in alot of games.
But the way they ended the season couldn't make me prouder to be a fan of the team. A four game winning streak! Their season may be over, but the Lions hopefully have converted some believers to their cause. If this keeps up the roar will be restored in Motown much sooner than later. Even though it may seem silly to some of you, congratulations Detroit Lions for your 2010 season. You guys may not have finished with a winning record, but it was a memorable season.
Lions win 4 in a row!!! Can you believe it?

They had a deceptively good season.

Predictions for next week:
AFC
Indy (3) vs Jets (6)
Jets are a fraud and everyone knows it. Indy has looked human, but when in doubt, go with Manning. (typing that killed me)
Winner: Indy 31-20
Baltimore (4) vs KC (5)
Baltimore is terrific, but there's something spunky about KC. Homefield will help them as well. KC in an upset. Winner: KC 24-21
NFC
Philly (3) vs Green Bay (6)
This game is an absolute toss up, IMO. Philly has looked invincible at times, and very beatable at others. Green Bay has been the tale of 2 teams as well over the last month. When in doubt, Andy Reid will screw over over when it matters.
Winner: Packers 30-24
NFC West winner (4) vs New Orleans (5)
To be blunt, whoever wins the NFC West has no business being in the playoffs. The Saints roll easily.
Winner: New Orleans 38-10

I agree. The Lions have a very bright future IF Stafford can stay healthy.
Suh with 12 sacks as rookie DT is awesome.

And the Broncos recover the onside kick. LOL. Oh please, please let Tebow put the final knife in San Diego for the season.

First Hail Mary throw tips off a hand, and back out of the back of the end zone.

First Hail Mary throw tips off a hand, and back out of the back of the end zone. And the 2nd one is tipped incomplete too. I almost expected something like the Jacksonville GW tip TD at the end in week 1.

They had a deceptively good season. Absolutely this. I said it earlier, I jumped on the Lions Bandwagon last years as my NFC team. If they can have a good draft/offseason, they could be a very good choice for dark horse playoff team next year.

Now we see who comes and goes on the Giants. I think Coughlin stays, because 10-6 is still a good record. But I think you're going to see some cuts in the assistant coaching staff. I think the guys in most trouble are the Quarterback and Special Teams Coaches, and maybe the Offensive Coordinator.
Also expecting some cuts in players. If Matt Dodge isn't cut for a halfway competent punter, I'm finding a new team to cheer for.

If any game is going to end in a tie this season, please let it be Rams/Seahawks, a.k.a. the lowest rated game in SNF history a.k.a "The Stink in the Drink."

I'll tell you what, if I had a vote for MVP it's going to Josh Freeman, but no one else will win outside Brady. Plus, props to Tebow, if he improves he's going to be great QB. Finally, I look back on the Redskins season with this, thank god it's over, time for change as usual in washington.
