REALLY sucked tonight. I don't normally like to rip on people, but he was just sloppy tonight, the match had dead heat (hell, i think Ted's the reason for the recent blizzard) and he pretty much solidified his position as a jobber tonight.
Even if they try an MVP like losing streak, I'll never buy (haha, pun) Ted as anything other then a lower card guy.
Thoughts?

Honestly, I like Ted DiBiase, but this gimmick he's got needs to die.

Remember a couple months ago when Maryse told Ted what a pathetic loser he is and he started growing a beard and getting extra angry? That went absolutely nowhere.
I'm just glad that the unending saga of the bookers flailing around trying to find something for Dibiase to do since someone high up in Titan Towers is convinced he's going to be a huge star someday is gradually drifting further and further down the card. Being the straight man job fodder to Santino's comedy antics is an almost acceptable use for him.
Let's remember, after all, that Ted Junior still appears on RAW every week. Not just on TV, or on Superstars, but on the flagship show. And frequently gets mic time.
That's just pathetic.

They need to bring up Brett DiBiase. Form Money Inc. 2011, win the Tag Titles, split up after a month, feud for a week or two on Superstars, then release Ted.

Sometimes, a guy not getting over is the result of his gimmick. I admit I'm not really the biggest fan of Ted but they really should give him a shot at doing something different. This gimmick will never get him over.

They should give Ted a hobo gimmick, make him lose his money on a bet or something

He's just never really done ANYTHING for me, personally, to spark any interest whatsoever. Ted just has no real personality. I honestly don't think I've ever seen a more dull and bland person (Heath Slater withstanding).

He has that going for him.

Or maybe have him win?
Not lose in squash matches?
That might work to help get him over.

If people would make noise for him, squash or not, then i could warrant him getting any kind of push/victory. but, he just gets negative reaction, as in, Reaction<No-reaction.

This gimmick will never get him over. Agreed. This gimmick is weak, and he is obviously not suited for it. I do think he is suited for something, however... I just don't know what. That's not my job to figure out, though.

I don't think the guy has even won a match since April. He's lost to R-Truth at least 90 times.

Well he got the already-standing-in-the-ring-after-a-commercial-break jobber entrance of the week. That's rarely a good sign.
Why is his gimmick anyway? He's supposed to be a trust fund baby with a bunch of money? He never flaunts his supposed wealth or anything, so I don't get it.
They should slap him with the hipster gimmick and see where that goes.

have him join Nexus. His trust fund money will assist the group in taking over RAW.

I want to see him become either Ted Dibby Aussie, stereotypical Australian, or add a d to his name to become Tedd DiBiase before revealing to Maryse he often fantasizes about turning into a woman and making out with a squirrel.

For the first few months of doing this Million Dollar Son thing, he was genuinely pushed and people still just plain didn't care. He got a win over Yoshi Tatsu and John Morrison. I wouldn't exactly consider that months of being pushed. Why again is Ted the Anti-Christ around here? All he ever does is job. Did he secretly get Kaval released?

Seriously, everytime they give him the angry psycho thing (Bryan, Elimination Chamber against Orton last year) he looks interesting. Then they drop it. They need to carry on with it, throw in Maryse like they did a few weeks back, and have Ted turn face when he goes nuts on her. It will work, the guy is very likeable.
When he first came in, I didn't like him at all. I didn't like him up until Priceless split. But then I watched his matches. This guy is very talented in the ring. His matches with Goldust and Bryan were some of the best this year. I hope he gets a proper chance.

I don't care what anybody says, when you're getting a jobber entrance and losing to Santino in less than a minute the warning bells are loud and clear.
