Say he never lost his leg/physically deteriorated when he did. How would he have been booked in the Attitude Era? The only way I could really see him being brought in is as part of the Hart Foundation before the screwjob, but there are probably a lot of other ways to do it.

Russo would probably have him carry a stick of dynamite and a plunger and he'd "blow up his opponents". They would of sold 3 t shirts.

The only thing I'm really picturing for him is being an awesome member of the Hart Foundation. That would've actually been really really cool. Then again, it makes me wonder if Brian Pillman would've been left out of the group then. He was always an odd fit to me anyway. Regardless, I'm pretty sure he would've just went to WCW after the Montreal incident anyway. And, he would probably be dead by now.

He'd be booked either with a pre-screwjob Hart Foundation or, if after WCW's collapse, as again a mentor of Chris Benoit that could slowly grow more resentful of his protege's friendships with, say, Owen ('cause there'd be one more voice against the wire stunt in KC) or Eddie, then eventually turn on Benoit for a feud to create more Match of the Year/Decade candidates than anything Michaels could put out.
Seriously, though, talking about what might have been usually makes me sad about what actually was, especially when it comes to anybody who's gone or retired from injury.
