Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli are the main 2 guys on the list I can see going to WWE next year. Kenny King would pleasantly surprise me. So would Rhett Titus.
I would love to see some Dragon Gate guys in the E but they are really loyal to their home company. Kevin Steen is the opposite of what they are looking for. Austin Aries, while great, would be a uphill fight I don't know he would want to do. Roderick Strong is too Miracle Whip. Richards turned them down already. The others are too indy but that haven't stop them from signing the usual pick.
My darkhorse pick is El Generico. He can be the next great babyface underdog. An heir apparent to Rey Mysterio. Either him or Mistico.

No, this isn't a Goldberg thread. As we've seen, WWE's been having mixed results with independent and international talent, to different degrees of success. Daniel Bryan(Arguable success), Kaval(Failure), Alberto Del Rio(Success so far), and Yoshi Tatsu(somewhere in between), and Seth Rollins(Yet to be determined). My question is, in an indy scene ripe for the picking, who's next? No shout out to Evan Bourne? Id hafto agree with the above with Kenny and Claudio. Although I also think Chucky would be good for the 'E as he has a good gimmick and personality as well as ring work, to fit into the company. Gunna hafto go with Claudio though, the guy is just too awesome to pass up on. Wow, you're right, I completely forgot about Bourne. I'd lump him in the "somewhere in between" category with Yoshi, honestly.

Man, I voted for Mantis, even though it'll never happen.
The idea of him in the WWE is just too funny not to discuss.
PRO: Mark Henry, ROOKIE: Ultramantis Black. And Henry just sits there eating an entire turkey leg, while Mantis gets progressively more infuriated.

Meanwhile, Pro Alberto Del Rio and Rookie Vin Gerard do a Trading Places gimmick inspired by the Eddie Murphy movie.

So Vin Gerard gets to sleep in a mansion and put his grubby hands on Del Rio's fine China, and Del Rio gets to.. sleep in a box outside the Wrestlefactory?

Actually, part of me believes him signing with WWE could happen. The guy is a good talker, in a weird sort of way. As a bonus, they should sign Hydra as well. They would have to never alter their characters for it to work.
