Allison is Lodi's manager, not Descent's. Descent's was Alestoir Draven. Why use Lodi's manager whilst he's out injured then? i said if he comes back. obviously i won't do it if he's not back yet.

I'm up for the match if Sam is. I think it would turn into a decent length feud with the right opening match. Okay, cool. again, if Lodi comes back before STCS, you could have Manager vs. Manager with Allison Sadness vs. Shaelin Marie O'Hara if you need some filler. Okay, if Lodi returns in time and wants to do that then I can book it. Just want to clarify that while I'm happy to add more matches if people want to get on the card and if we have enough writers with enough time, I don't think it's a necessity or anything. "Extreme Rules" had eight, and we've got six right now.

This has come back to people taking this too seriously again guys. What we seem to be forgetting is THERE WAS ALWAYS GOING TO BE TEETHING PROBLEMS WHEN THINGS CHANGED HANDS. Bergman is right. Rather than everybody, whether they agree with Square or not saying "Ok, we'll help out" and working in the same direction and trying to find a compromise, people are just pulling every which way, which isn't going to achieve anything. Honestly, Crap Idol came up at a good time, because I don't think anybody wants to deal with grief on an E-FED! It's supposed to be fun, let's not get up in arms and life or death about this. The only person who has that kind of investment in it is Evil M and it's unfair to him that everybody who said they would put in has gone off on their own tangents. Booking, while complex, does not seem to take a terribly long time. Editing together a show and posting does not seem to be overly time-consuming either. I think the heart of our problems is that our match writing system, predicated upon freelance agency, needs better responsibility, commitment, consistency, and activity standards. What if we established a stable of default match writers? I understand that it somewhat flies in the face of some of WWCF's more casual foundation, but I think that it could make a difference in stabilizing it. I'm not sure how they would be organized though. Maybe by card? A main event writer, a high card writer, a mid card writer, a low card writer, and a curtain jerker writer? The card positions cycle between writers? One week you're high card, next week you're main event, next week you're back to curtain jerking, and on and on. The booker assigns matches to writers? If we implemented a system like so, however we did, I can most certainly volunteer to be one such "default writer." I also still think that every new member should be required to write their debut match so that they have at least an inkling of what goes into writing matches every week.

It's worth considering, BRB. I'll wait to see what everybody else thinks, but if we go that route I'll volunteer to be a default writer of some kind too.

May as well figure out how to make it work in the meantime. I think that the writers should be there to be assumed for writing duties for stability, but the system should still have some inherently flexible elements that allows others to write.

well, it's a given that i usually write my own matches, so that is something to think about.

I'm willing to write any multi-man matches, such as Thunder Dome and battle royals. I also consider hardcore matches to be my strong point, so I'm willing to help out there too.

As for me, I think I'm not bad with normal singles matches or tag matches. Hardcore matches are a little bit tougher, though, and I'm not really confident in my ability to write something like the Thunder Dome match.

Volunteer writers stepping up to the plate so far:
BRB - Matches with own character, otherwise open for anything Gus Richlen - Matches with own character M - Multi-man matches, Hardcore matches Socko's Bro - Singles matches, Tag Matches
Between 4 writers we have: 1 Tag team writer 1 Multi-man writer 1 Hardcore writer 1 General Singles writer 2 Character-based writers 1 General overall writer
There are no "matches of honor" specialist volunteers yet (not that that's a requirement, mind you), and I hope that at least another member or two can step up. Otherwise, I think the "writer's stable" idea has quickly grown legs.

Ok....I CANNOT stress this enough.....
In terms of match writing, I suck donkeys. I'm good for a few spots here and there for story telling, but I can't write a coherent match to save my life.

i do tend to think, however, in spite of my shortcomings in tag matches, that i did a good job writing the WarGames match.

Once I get my work schedule in order and get myself a decent computer, I can start writing matches again.

I believe I'm good with big time matches, I've only written two tag matches before and both were much more storyline based than they were actual matches. So I'll be fine with most one on one matches regardless of gimmicks. I'll do the odd tag match of it need be too.

I'll take pretty much anything to write (although I am much happier with my own because I tend to be able to bring in more storytelling) but can only take it up after Crap Idol has finished really.
