THE WORLD NEEDS TO KNOW!
They really dropped the ball with the lack of follow up.

Nope, but she probably got PPV tickets and a meet and greet with the stars which is even greater.

Nope, but she probably got PPV tickets and a meet and greet with the stars which is even greater. And a pizza party backstage.

I don't see why not. It's a cheap award. Small price to pay to make a little girl happy.

I'm surprised that they didn't follow up, seeing how she got one of the biggest pops of the night.

How did they run across contacting her and getting her to show up?

Caylee screwed Caylee with her constant backstage politicing and refusing to do the job on the way out

I was just re-watching Cayley's Slammy Win. She lived out the dream of just about every one of us that grew up watching wrestling had as kids. She went face to face with the WWE Champion, won an award, and got one of the biggest reactions of anybody. That's really awesome.

She really looks demonic when she does that face. Just throwin' it out there.
And I get the feeling this isn't the end of the Miz/Caylee feud. We may see some run-ins down the road.

I'd kind of like to see her show up at random points during Miz's career, all the way up to the end, whenever that is. Kind of like Pete Rose with Kane.

How did they run across contacting her and getting her to show up? That's actually something I gave a lot of thought to. Assuming she wasn't a plant, WWE must've checked the tape, gotten an approximation of the seats -- hell, on the tape they can probably completely ascertain where someone was sitting -- and contacted the arena to find out who had purchased that. In all likelihood, her parents bought the tickets with their credit or debit card, not cash, which gave the arena people the name of the family. From there, it's a simple phonecall from someone in WWE -- likely someone high up and famous, like Triple H or Dean Malenko (a joke for the humour impaired) -- and there you go.

I thought it was very cool of WWE to acknowledge her like they did. I marked out. ;D

I would guess that little Kaylee (sp?) became a local celebrity shortly after the incident, and it was just a matter of WWE tracking her down through asking around at local schools or possibly through a radio station or newspaper. But that's just a total guess.

No, but it's ok. She set Miz's bag on fire backstage.
By looking at it.
