Guy was getting some of the biggest reactions in the company the last few months No he wasn't by a longshot. Well he did get a sizable hometown reaction back at Survivor Series. Didn't do him much good there, of course.

Was always a company guy. Complaining about WWE's $500 fines for pot use and tweeting negatively by WWE in the last year is not being a company guy. Guy was getting some of the biggest reactions in the company the last few months No he wasn't by a longshot. Did you see the old school Raw? Did you see his promo with Del Rio on Smackdown and his match with McIntyre on Smackdown? Did you see the amazing hometown reaction he got? According to this week's Smackdown spoilers he got huge "MVP" chants. The guy was getting extremely over as a face. Also his fans asked him questions about how he was being used and he responded honestly but somehow that's classified as "complaining".Other people brought up his booking. Not him. And I heard the audio interview about pot.He never complained about $500 fines. His words got twisted around.

Wonder if he means Japan by 'international'. He seems to speak about it a lot. Due to his past criminal behavior, he's not allowed to visit Japan, so a run there is out of the question.

Can't say I'm shocked. . .nor can I say I care.
Only time I've been interested in him was his feud with Matt Hardy, the rest of the time he's been completely forgettable.
Plus whining on twitter didn't help. The guys in the WWE, got a job many folks dream about. . .the last thing he should be doing is whining about not getting pushed. Especially when there's plenty more talented guys who actually do put the effort in who never seem to get pushed.

f***ing bulls***. genuinely pissed off with this one. Was always a company guy. Unless this was wellnessed, the WWE are idiots. Guy was getting some of the biggest reactions in the company the last few months He wanted to be released, to do other things. Like I said MVP Is 37, 10 years of that wasted in jail, he should go and do as much as possible. MVP is 37? Hot damn I thought he was in his late 20's

Geez, this year's MITB 6 (WM 26's MITB match)'s participants seem to be cursed. Jack Swagger...had a three months title reign only to be demoted. Christian...mediocre run on SmackDown only to be injured. Kofi Kingston was well on his way to become a superstar and a nice IC Title run this year but apart from that, not much happened. Drew McIntyre was the guy that people forgot was the IC Champion and had a pointless Tag Title run. Still, he loses more than he wins. Dolph Ziggler is now the IC Champion since August but has yet to have one meaningful feud since Kofi. Evan Bourne has had couples of wins over Jericho but went back to jobbing immediately after. Only Kane is immune from that curse as he rightfully deserves that monster push that he should have had for years. Since then, Shelton Benjamin, Matt Hardy and now MVP are now released. I'm wondering if someone else is going to be released before WM 27...someone who seems to be a permanent fixture in a WM MITB match. This doesn't bode well for Christian.

Well, that's a little surprising. Although if it was his choice then power to him.

Well, he possibly can as a tourist, but obtaining a work visa may be difficult with his record. I'm sure he shall soon find out

Well, if he wanted his release, I'm fine with that. Whatever makes him happy. I'll miss him, though.
Still, losing one of the most over faces on SmackDown isn't really good for the brand's already-small roster.

Wasted potential. WWE really f***ed up his push and status in the company.

I might as well post my favorite fueds, matches, and segments involving a person who claims to be half man, half amazing, and BETTER than YOU.
-Michael Hayes on the VIP Lounge. -MVP vs. Benoit from Wrestlemania with the cheerleaders in MVPs entrance. -MVP Celebration after winning the US Belt from Benoit. -MVP vs. Benoit from Smackdown weeks after Wrestlemania which eneded up being a better match and also MVP finally gaining an upset on Benoit.. -The fued with MAtt Hardy was AMAZING. The segments were entertaining and the matches were great and put MVP on the map. The beatdown on Matt after losing the tag titles to Miz & Morrison was brutal and the women and kids crying in the crowd in shock made the segment. Nights later, MVP would get the most heat in his match in Survivor Series in his own hometown. Sadly he only lasted a couple minutes before getting eliminated. -MVP vs. Jericho from The Price is Raw. -MVP vs. CM Punk for the first time on ECW. -MVP having a fun tag team with Mark Henry that went nowhere. -MVP vs. Orton on his first night on Raw. A MISSED OPPURTUNITY! -MVP trying to make the best out of NXT season 2.

Now I'm sad. MVP was one of the first wrestlers I marked for when I got back into wrestling in 2006.
If he's serious about going international, I'll have to check up on the foreign scene more.
