But some people are ranters, that's just their style. Especially if the same criticisms are thrown at him, and the person throwing them is ignorant. Also, whether he does it angerly or not, the way he rants in no way takes away from the validity of the points he's making. Someone who is calm and rational could lie through their teeth, but it would be a shame if that person was believed over the guy ranting and raving and bringing up facts. Again, I'm not questioning the validity, I'm questioning the image he projects. He's one of the public faces of a (supposedly) growing company, who spends his time angrily refuting bloggers that don't really matter at all. It's not a good use of his time, and he looks like an insecure jerk, even though he's technically in the right. In this instance, the correct response would have been to ignore the no-nothing gnat, and go on doing your business. That's how an executive acts. They don't go on spittle flecked rants over every little slight. He's also human, and seems to love confrontation though. Not only that, but sometimes not responding to some ridiculous accusation can have some people believe that the accusation is true. Or, if you respond to it once, and people still keep bringing it up, or they don't believe you, or whatever. There is a really good example of this, but it violates the political discussion rules. I'm not a big fan of what the public would think. It's on his facebook, and he's refuting misinformation about a company he's apart of, I'm sure he's not going to have any problems because of it, especially if higher ups know the type of person he is. Besides, anything can be spun in any direction, so no matter what Eric does, he's screwed. If he doesn't answer, then he has no response, if he does, especially in the way he does, he's a jerk. So, I guess due to his personality, he'll respond, and take people calling him a jerk who goes after every little thing.

This punk was using "internet facts" on a guy who once ran the #1 wrestling company in the world. One who has been in the biggest board room settings, and has seen everything in the corporate structure. Whatever people's thoughts of Eric Bischoff are, it's no doubt he's been there and done that. This guy is nothing more than a Barista at a wannabe Starbucks, and he wants to think he has this vast knowledge because he subscribes to every TNA fansite, and stalks Wade Keller.
I would've been seriously disappointed if he divulged company information to that geek. Anytime I see haters of the Hogan-Bischoff era, I know that they have their own bias. TNA needs work, but I love the direction they are going in.

Eric destroyed this numbskull. More of these bloggers need smacked around like this. This. The internet has become a place where we are accustomed to seeing uninformed, unintelligent attention seekers slander, insult and defame public figures on a regular basis. That doesn't make it okay. If the Enquirer runs a false story about a media figure, they can be sued for millions, while bloggers rarely face any sort of repercussion for presenting blatant lies as legitimate news on an enormous public forum. We've become so jaded to this that we call a guy a loser for defending himself. The world would be a much better place if this happened on a regular basis.

Wow, Bischoff's like a bizarro, pro-TNA Spoony. This story in a nutshell.

Basically, they just yell at each other. Eric didn't really defend himself in a compelling manner but the other guy was so clueless it didn't matter.

Eric Bischoff is just doing what Bill O'Reilly, Bill Maher and Colin Cowherd do everyday:destroying someone who doesn't have their facts straight or did research on the subject matter before challenging theem in an argument. The guy used the "it's on the internet" tactic that had more flaws than the New Orleans levee systems. I just want to know why Bischoff single out the chump when the bigger names in the dirtsheet biz are available? Why not do another series of interviews with Keller again? Mike Johnson is surely not to busy either. I think he only did the call in because he knows it would had got out on the net and made him a hero to the TNA diehards and Dixie Carter. Hell, if he wants to not talk to anyone in the biz, I'm quite sure Bill Simmons would talk to him and give a much bigger audience to hear him out.

1 thing I am mad about: The guy does a Blog Talk Radio podcast, and yet it ISN'T the best one around, namely Tuesday Night Tyfo?! I mean, if Bischoff really wanted to set the record straight, what better place to set it straight than TNT? I'm sure he would welcome a chance to go to a show that not only would let him have the chance to clear the air, but also be on the same show where you can hear a Magnum TA promo, McMahon revealed as the higher power, and Russo's promo on Hogan. Isn't that every wrestling promoter's dream? (Also, I am in no way promoting this because I'm a caller on it, and in no way trying to get a cheap plug in a otherwise serious wrestling topic, and in no way upset Bischoff spent do much effort on such a boring blog. )

Are there any links to the original story and/or this guy's blog? I would like to do more reading on this "incident" before commenting.

The world would be a much better place if this happened on a regular basis. Or people could just get over it and move on with their lives. They could show some class in the face of those who don't. Rise above. Instead of being just as moronic as those they decry.
