So am I going to be the one to ask what he was high on? I do feel that it makes a difference. If it was pot or pain killers or something I wouldn't think the story is very interesting. A little irresponsible, but certainly not as bad as if he were wrestling while high on something really hardcore. Oh and to the person that asked "what drugs would made Black Reign interesting" my answer is Mushrooms.

Working under the influence is always a bad idea, no matter what the drug of choice, be it alcohol, cocaine, pot, painkillers or whatever. Any drug you take have an effect on your body. Even if it "only" relaxes your muscles, you are still more likely to make a mistake and injuring yourself, or worse, the person you are working with.

I don't think we should be condeming him for this after the fact.
He willingly admits he did wrong in this book where he could have not mentioned it or even tried to gloss over the issues or justify the bad behavior. But instead he says he screwed up and condemns himself for it.
I think it's gonna be ok and we should be glad he got his life turned around.

But I retain the right to continue making fun of Black Reign.

I'm glad he's clean and sober now and I hope he continues down that path. I was very tempted to read this book but I guess it really glosses over his wrestling and is more focused on his drug abuse and his father's shadow.

That and wasn't Rellik supposed to be a figment of his imagination or something? I don't remember 100% If true, that kinda puts a new spin on the Rellik character. It's like Black Reign tried to imagine Great Muta into existence, but was soooo high, that he got Rellik instead. Until TNA punishes people, I will believe that there are plenty of people in TNA who are on drugs so this news does not suprise me. Everywhere in wrestling, everywhere. How do you think those Ultraviolent wrestler go through a match? Drunk or stoned no other way to get all this crap (I once read here a message from some guy saying he was standing next to Necro Butcher and he basically smelled like a liquor bottle) This doesn't surprise me. I mean, the guy's got a giant pot leaf inked on his right arm.

Geez, I forgot Goldust was even in TNA for a short time. Maybe because I was getting high before TNA shows >_>
