Okay, so I know how much everybody loves hating on this year in TNA. But I think it's high time we start looking back at some the things we've enjoyed over the year.
I'll start out by giving them mad props for their treatment of tag teams. This last Impact, the main event had the tag titles on the line. Now, think about WWE. Think about the main event of Raw being for the tag team titles. How hard are you laughing?
The tag titles are a big deal (fairly quick) in TNA. While there aren't too many tag teams competing for them, the matches have been stellar and they've been made out to actually mean something.
More things I've enjoyed: - Brian Kendrick - Hardcore Justice (I know not everybody liked it, but I thought it was wonderful, even if it wasn't perfect) - Eric Young as world champ! - The world title generally being treated like it means something, as well as the length of the reigns - GenMe turning heel and being awesome
There's a lot more, but it's 1:30 in the morning and I'm sleepy, so I'll add more tomorrow. Let's keep this thread positive, k?!

The Tag division has been consistently good and been made to be important. As in, very good. TNA at least provides a strong alternative to WWE in that regards.

My TNA Positives:
- Heel Jeff Hardy RULES...who knew? - Ric Flair is still insane...and, in TNA, more unscripted than ever! Hooray! - Jay Lethal vs. Flair rivalry (and WOO-off!) - Brian Kendrick's gimmick. He finally interests me. - The whole Beer Money vs. Machine Guns series - Stevie Richards (a personal fave) still has a job on TV (so...good for me) and he's in the best shape of his life (good for him). - Mickie vs. Tara in a cage! - Cougar Tara teamed with GenMe - My favorite match of the year: Kurt Angle vs. Mr. Anderson at Lockdown (and Anderson's 2010 comeback in general) - Doug Williams. An unexpected but welcome push. He deserves it. - The "THEY' angle was fun to think about and discuss on these forums. Wrestling angles haven't required me to think in a long while so this was welcome no matter the final outcome.

The Guns (finally) winning the tag titles, that has to be top of my list. Also, I have to agree that the titles are worth something here, with lengthy reigns for the most part. The alive-and-well tag division here. Now, this is one area where TNA does beat WWE hands down. Eric Young not being released. And lastly, Douglas Williams getting another title. That makes me happy

Tag Division
Doug Williams
Flair v Lethal
Making Hardy drop the belt to EY. Feel good moment of the year for TNA, I hope EY has a long reign. He has earned it.

The episode of ReACTiON dedicated to Immortal which showed footage dating back to January that hinted to the "pieces all coming together". Very well done.

Actual focus on a tag division, with several really good tag teams.

I found myself entertained most of the year. The Knockouts Division is making somewhat of a comeback. They have a good tag division thus far and they had an awesome match with the GenMe vs MCMG empty arena match. Fortune was pretty good, especially Ric Flair vs the Jay Lethal series.

-Hardcore Justice (Even though it was considered a One Night Stand rip-off; I will even agree with that, it was still cool to see one more and possibly last original ECW esque show)
-Brian Kendrick's new yoda like gimmick
-Gen. Me's somewhat push against MCMG
-The Douglas Williams / AJ Styles feud
-Jay Lethal being Jay Lethal

MCMG finally getting what they deserved. The tag division as a whole was excellent.
And, I will admit, I do really enjoy Heel Jeff Hardy. It's something different and I think he's fitting in well to that roll.
Reaction was also something that was enjoyable for me. It was something, again, different i thought very well executed. Shame it went away when it did, but I'm glad Spike and TNA are still on good enough terms to try out new projects such as this.
Last but not least, an honorable mention to HAAAARDCORE COUNTRYYYYYYYYY for giving me something to chuckle at every time I hear it.

I don't care how old and tired it is, Eric Bischoff always lends some air of credibility to a show.
Flair-Lethal was GOLD. I only wish it would have lasted longer.
AJ back to being a heel. He's just got this natural cocky sneer that he can't use as a face. LOVE heel AJ.
The breakout of Anderson, Pope, Wolfe, etc.
EY and OJ. Seriously, I didn't think Orlando Jordan would ever be entertaining, but his partnership (HEH?!) with Eric Young has been awesome.

The Eight Stud Tournament at Against All Odds and the PPV in general. Four excellent matches (Pope vs. Wolfe, Angle vs. Anderson, Pope vs. Anderson and AJ vs. Joe), two really good matches (Pope vs. Morgan and Morgan vs. Hernandez) and two good matches (Abyss vs. Foley and Abyss vs. Anderson). I skipped the tag team I must confess.

Basically, this past year was pretty awful. More money was spent on so called "name" talent, and the ratings on the whole are down from 2009 and potentially 2008, that might have to be checked. Guarenteed 2009 though. Anyway, the positives.
Jeff Jarrett - MMA Enthusiast -One reason I like this gimmick is it's very topical. MMA is the in thing right now, so you have a lot of faux tough guys around wearing their UFC and Affliction shirts trying to look tough. Now, you have Jeff Jarrett, who is pretty much doing the same thing. It also brings up that he thinks he can be this great MMA guy with only a few weeks of training, and now he's the greatest thing ever. I also love the nice touches before those MMA exhibitions where he has Team Jarrett come out with him, the guy puts the stuff on his face, and this past week where they gave it a nice touch where the guy got the stuff in Amazing Red's eye.
Hardcore Justice -I actually enjoyed it too, particularly the Raven/Dreamer match, which got buried by the sheets who were talking about how much of a bad father Tommy Dreamer was. Unless their is blatent proof that someone is a bad parent, I think calling someone a bad parent is a bit of a bad idea, because you don't live with that person 24/7. Also, Dreamer's kids are actresses, so they know what's real from what's not. Any dirt sheet writer who talked down at Dreamer's ability as a parent is a douche. It would be wrong for Dreamer to find them and punch them in the face, but it would be funny.
The Guns getting the belts -Probably the most deserving team to win the belts, they've also been holding onto it for quite a long time, and the tag team division is not too bad.
Jay Lethal dropping Black Machismo -The gimmick was good, but it ran it's course. It was good to see him break out as a singles star, even though he needed the constant Hogan pat on the back, and once that stopped, he was out of the spotlight, because the real stars need that spotlight. But Lethal can probably be a great fan favourite in TNA for years to come.
Douglas Williams -One of the finer things in TNA this year, Douglas Williams getting a push and being a pretty major star this year, probably the breakout star of the year I would say.
Robbie E -Yeap, he's won me over. My problem with Vince Russo is, he thinks the interviews are more important then the wrestling. Robbie E comes in, no one has seen him before, he's not feuding with anybody, he has no heat on him at all, yet he has to come out and cut cold promos and the people think it's stupid. But, when Robbie started wrestling, that's when his character really started coming out, and now I think he's starting to develop a lot better wrestling, then doing stupid in ring stuff with JWwow, or however one spells her name.
I'll probably think of more later on and discuss more later on.

The Angle/Anderson feud The tag team division Flair/Lethal The elevation of Matt Morgan (he has the look of a star, IMO). The Pope pre-injury (looked he like was ready to be a star then lost all his momentum when he got hurt). Jeff Hardy heel turn (I like him better as a heel)
I think where TNA missed the boat was not having RVD/Angle at Bound for Glory. Hell, "THEY" could have been RVD and Hardy together with Hogan, Bischoff, Abyss, and Jarrett (have "They" cost Angle the match at BFG and have RVD and Hardy be the 2010 version of the 1996 Outsiders). I just thought it was pointless to have Angle go through everyone and then drop the storyline completely before it could climax to the inevitable Angle/RVD showdown.
