When Heath Ledger died, people suddenly acted like he was "TEH GR8EST ACTOR EVERZ TEH DARK KNIGHTZZZORRRZ OMG!" when they hadn't given two s***s about him beforehand. It happens when every celebrity dies. "Fans" suddenly crawl out of the woodwork. Well, he was known for Brokeback Mountain before he died. As far as me paying tribute is concerned. I never went out of my way to honor a celebrity who I knew little of or wasn't interested in his/her work. If they weren't that great when they were alive, why is it when they are dead they are automatically the greatest thing ever(for like a week)? Everybody dies, its a natural part of life. That being said, the closest thing I ever did was when Aaliyah died in a plane crash, I downloaded two songs of hers online just to throw her a bone. Not that I didn't know much about her or didn't listen to her music beforehand.
