The fact that theyre disabled doesnt make it any more or less of a dick move. Seriously, its good that you can have this self realisation, but come on dude. And good for going with the apology. Making amends is always a good start.

The fact that you are 13 and not only taking the blame for your actions but trying to rectify them doesn't mean you're a bad person. In fact it means you're a kid (and I don't mean that insultingly but I have a son your age and it's hard to not think of that age as the end of childhood) who if they do not let anyone change them will grow to be an adult that anyone around you will be lucky to know.
hell, you're more mature than 85% of the adults I know.

I apologized to to the disabled kids today: They luckily forgave me. The next stop is the teacher tomorrow. Very big of you, mate. Seriously. Takes a lot of decency to own up to being wrong. It's very, very good that you've recognised your behaviour and that it's not what you want to be. I wish I was so self-aware back in the day. If you keep this attitude and keep working to not be THAT guy, you'll end up as a person you can be proud of.
