I know the feeling, there's very few shows I go out of my way to watch each week. Big Bang, HIMYM, Animation Domination, Entourage, Boardwalk Empire all get DVR'd every new episode, that's about it. Most series' I "watch" are just whatever my girlfriend watches, and I just chill on my laptop or DS or something else. Most of my TV watching is either sports, wrestling, or the Stewart/Colbert/Conan block on CTV My TV at this point is only needed for sports, Man vs. Food, and maybe some background noise to put on if I happen to be up late at night (usually either Comedy Central or Adult Swim, though not so much AS anymore). I do like being able to catch an interesting bit on a channel like History or to see a movie now and then, but yeah, the only shows I watch with regularity tend to be sports shows and games. My family even questioned me about it one time, basically saying "how can you only watch sports? There's good stuff to watch out there,", etc. etc., but it just never really works with me.

Sounds like its time to stop paying money for cable.

Sounds like its time to stop paying money for cable. I just need a sports-centric package, and I'm pretty happy. Again, I do like having the options to watch random things and to have a few movie channels available, but by and large I'll turn the TV on when it's near game time during baseball, hockey, or football season.
