You must be playing TEW to have that much detail or am I wrong? he could be just making it up in his head although i could be wrong Most of it is just added flavor to put the angles in context. Basically it all went down like this: Night of Champions - Authority Fires Authority - Vince Fires Triple H Raw after NoC - Authority Fires Authority - Steph Fires Vince Next Raw - Retirement and Passing of Torch - Vince to Triple H (a 100% segment BTW)

The Detective Fruitbooty bit has me laughing out loud and embarrassing myself in public right now. Absolutely hilarious.

Got bored with the WWE game and decided to start a TNA game using the latest data pack. Currently looking through the free agents list to pick out some goons to play the "Ace's & Eights" stable. So far, I've got Johnny Devine, Cliff Compton, & Mike Knox. I'm looking for two more guys so any suggestions would be appreciated.

Luke Gallows and Tomko could work. If you want to raid other companies, Michael Elgin and Tommasso Ciampa are also decent picks.

I signed a few developmental guys lately and something interesting happened with one of them. Bob Sapp. LOL. Since he has next to no popularity anywhere but Japan, I figured it would be a long road, maybe a game year or more, to get him over. Anyways, he debuts on my developmental show and gets a decent gain in the territory, so I decide to dark match him.
He squashes Sean Waltman in a garbage C rated match, and then does a looks promo. (They don't let you use menace, so I'm using looks). Because it was on my A show, he gets a +8% worldwide. Interesting. If his overness cap isn't set low, I may have stumbled into the next Goldberg.

That popularity gain is a bug since it wasn't actually on TV, but I'll just pretend it was so awesome that it ended up on youtube and everyone watched it. He'll probably become developmental champ before he moves up.

You guys have piqued my interest. I'm really not too hip to these types of games, but I went ahead and snatched up TEW '05 and the most modern real world roster update I could find.
Right of the bat, I'm hit in the face with the fact I cannot book for s***.
It's just one of those things. I can know who's on my roster, understand their place in the grand scheme of things, understand who would likely work well with who, even have a few ideas about potential angles to work, how to pace them and what their ultimate payoff might be, but if you put it all right in front of me, I'm a slobbering retard.
I took the wheel of the E and through sheer force of star power have avoided running it straight into the ground in half a year, but public interest is down. Guys are unhappy.
The only bright spot is that I've just recently snapped up Danshoku Dino from DDT. I'm interested to see if I could actually build him up and make him a force here.
My plan was to immediately feud him with Goldust. I was going to have a backstage segment where he asks him out, gets rejected, beats him down and then the two begin a program as enemies.
We'll see how it pans out.

The one thing that's really helped with TEW 05 for me are the Unchained storylines, that way I can fulfill the storyline quota of the promotion(and it helps the fan response), and I can put whatever angles I want in a feud.

We'll see how it pans out. There's a curve in the game. My fed almost tanked down to cult before it made a big resurgence. It takes time to get people over. And everyone will be unhappy because they can't appear on every show. I just use logic with that and make them happy with the editor, if they should be happy. Literally the only guys in my company that are happy are the developmental guys, jobbers, and say my 8 top guys or so because they're protected and all over the place.

I've decided to start a new game of TEW 2010 without being assigned to a company, just so I can see how the game decides to book things - only two weeks in and Smackdown got a treat with the Brothers of Destruction beating Kharma and Kaitlyn in a match that got a rating of 81. Tyler Reks also appears to be on a winning streak; he even beat Daniel Bryan on an episode of NXT.

I got EWR almost a week ago and so far I have done three full months, and am going into Survivor Series in November in a week's time in-game.
Champions: World Titles: WWE Champion: Chris Jericho (defeated Brock Lesnar and Dolph Ziggler (who turned face) at Live and Let Die (a PPV replacing Hell in a Cell that was on October) World Heavyweight Champion: Christian (defeated Alberto Del Rio at Live and Let Die) NXT Champion: Tyson Kidd (defeated Ezekiel Jackson, David Otunga and Damien Sandow at Live and Let Die
Secondary Titles: Intercontinental Champion: Justin Gabriel (defeated Daniel Bryan) United States Champion: Jack Swagger (defeated Randy Orton) Tag Team Champions: Antonio Cesaro and Seth Rollins (defeated The Usos)
Teritary Titles: Divas Champion: AJ Lee (defeated Eve Torres) Cruiserweight Champion: Zack Ryder (Won a battle royal; last champion was Yoshi Tatsu) Hardcore Champion: Batista (attacked Tensai and defeated him)
Now, in my storyline, I have Daniel Bryan leading a team of superstars called the New Breed. These are the following members: Daniel Bryan (leader) Antonio Cesaro Kassius Ohno Seth Rollins Dean Ambrose Heath Slater
Right now, Triple H and CM Punk are feuding against the New Breed and they will face off in a traditional Survivor Series 5 on 5 match at Survivor Series.
Here's the match card:
WWE Championship Chris Jericho (c) vs R-Truth vs Brian Kendrick I had Brian Kendrick return by interrupting Jericho, and R-Truth was already named the number one contender (mainly because Jericho wanted a few matches with Truth), so I had Mick Foley (the new Raw GM) set up a triple threat.
World Heavyweight Championship Christian (c) vs Alberto Del Rio vs Ricardo Rodriguez Ricardo turned on Del Rio at Live and Let Die, and that's mostly why this match is a triple threat with him.
NXT Championship Tyson Kidd (c) vs Kassius Ohno (won a tournament for the opportunity) I might have Ohno win.
Traditional Survivor Series 5 on 5 Elimination Tag Team Match Team HHH (Triple H, CM Punk, John Cena, Edge, Colt Cabana) vs Team New Breed (Daniel Bryan, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Heath Slater, Antonio Cesaro) Originally, I had Ric Flair in Colt's place, but I changed my mind and replaced Flair. Plus, Triple H portrayed a mystery stalker following into Live and Let Die, and revealed himself after that PPV. Oh, and Punk and Cena are in a feud with Ambrose and Ohno, who was replaced by Rollins.
Hell in a Cell Big Show vs Undertaker This rivalry began at Live and Let Die, where Taker cost Show a handicap match against The Rock and Batista. Kevin Nash had an injury (broken nose) before this rivalry even began, and he just fully recovered, so I have plans for him.
Dolph Ziggler vs Brock Lesnar I made this match more than an in-game week ago.
Intercontinental Championship (filler match) Justin Gabriel (c) vs Drew McIntyre Just to give McIntyre something to do.
United States Championship (another filler match) Jack Swagger (c) vs Randy Orton
I might add an extra championship match, maybe Batista vs Tensai for the Hardcore title.
I'll post the results in a couple of hours, more or less an hour.

Results of Survivor Series:
Drew McIntyre d. Justin Gabriel: The match got a high rating (almost 90%), which is the most shocking part. I guess Drew's going over with a long IC reign.
Randy Orton d. Jack Swagger: Dolph Ziggler decided to send a message to Lesnar an hour from their match, and cost Swagger the US title.
Batista d. Tensai: Ryback, Mark Henry and an SNES console were involved.
Kassius Ohno d. Tyson Kidd: This match was one of the shortest in the PPV.
Dolph Ziggler d. Brock Lesnar: I expected a higher score for this type of match.
Ricardo Rodriguez d. Christian and Alberto Del Rio: Ricardo winning the title gave the match above 80%.
Big Show d. Undertaker: Quite a big crowd reaction on this one (100%). I was planning on having Kevin Nash interfere in the aftermatch, but that was planned for Undertaker winning, but Big Show didn't want to take a sick bump, and I wanted the match to end with a sick bump.
Brian Kendrick d. Chris Jericho and R-Truth: "The WWE title lost image." Kendrick probably isn't worthy. Oh, and The Rock interfered.
Team HHH d. Team New Breed: I expected 90% or higher in the overall rating due to the amount of star power in the ring.
PPV Rating: 81%

I suddenly got hooked on TEW 2005, and have various databases.
Default - I upgraded this database with the August 2012 update, and I'm working on booking WWE.
circa 2005 - A 2005 scenario
2001 - A 2001 scenario
Custom chars - I use this database to create television, video game and cartoon characters among other types of characters. So far, I made several "morbidly obese" versions of My Little Pony characters.
bonus1/2 - Used for standalone packs of angles, match types and storylines.
There's also another pack including the original database for this game, with all the original wrestlers.

I booked it just to see what would happen to each wrestler's momentum and popularity and then accidentally saved. I've since held a tournament for the title that she vacated that saw Orton turn on Triple H, leading to ultimately to a Summerslam main event of Evolution (Orton and Batista with Manager Ric Flair) Vs. D-Generation X

The main event scene in 1984 AWA is currently Hogan, Flair, Martel, Brody, Bockwinkel, Dory, Buddy Rose and Ron Bass. Flair has just barely escaped Martel with his title intact, but next he'll have to contend with my newest full-time signing: Jumbo Tsuruta. I've also signed J.J. Dillon to manage Flair and his AWA proto-Horsemen (which includes Curt Hennig, a rookie but quickly improving Scott Hall and Mr. Olympia Jerry Stubbs), and Pat Patterson is the new AWA president.
It's amazing the talent other promotions will throw away. I'm surprised half these guys were completely unemployed at any point in time.
