My rating of the Rockys. II I RB III V Rocky Road Rocky Maivia Rocky Johnson Good ole Rocky Top, Rocky Top Tennessee Rocky Dennis Rocky IV I hate Rocky IV - It's everything crappy and dumb about the 80s, blended into a glass and forced down your throat. Doesn't even feel like a real movie, or a positive experience. Burgess Meredith is the best thing about it. Are you talking about Meredith in the whole sense of the Rocky Movies in general? Cause he wasn't in Rocky IV

Those who hate Rocky IV...you have made a powerful enemy. Not me, it's your opinions. But...(looks over to...)

Cause he wasn't in Rocky IV Wait lol so now Rocky IV has become an Amalgam of Meredith, Osama bin Laden, and I'm guessing a japanese wrestler? If Rocky and Drago tag team on them send the script right now to Stallone! ;D

I'm with the opinion that V should have had a scene where the robot gets repossessed with all of Rocky's stuff, all while crying "Pauleeeeeey!" or...or the robot could of been possessed by Mickey, who then helps Rocky beat up Paulie for even putting them in the outhouse by letting Paulie in charge if their estate when they went to Russia. I was always surprised that Rocky forgave Paulie, if he even did, for losing all his wealth in between IV and V

As soon as they made him champion, I think it ruined the entire premise of the movie. The sixth is the only one I thought captured that feeling again. It's like them changing Rambo into a generic action star. It missed the entire point of the first movie. Well good point. But I mean they had to give him the belt right? When they thought of doing Rocky II, I don't think Stallone wanted Rocky to just "Go the Distance" again lol. And didn't Rocky give up the belt in Rocky IV just for a chance to fight Drago? I just liked the fact that Paulie finally caved in for one movie and that he just wasn't a douche They only had to when they did the sequels. But as a story protagonist, he never needed to. It was a much better story when he wasn't. Then, he was a scrub who was just wanting to prove that he wasn't a loser and that he was capable of doing something. Apollo never took it seriously and was caught off guard when the tomato he was fighting took it seriously. The second movie turned him from that to the best fighter in the world in a lone training montage. 3 and 4 just threw other opponents at him. 5 did try something different with him being a mentor and his trainee being overshadowed by him, but just didn't do it well. 6 actually captured the feeling that, despite all his success, he wasn't any better than when he started and he needed to prove to himself that it wasn't a wasted life.

Well put my friend! So it kinda mirrors how The Rock was with the title/no title. More people would have rather him chase the title, than to be champion in the first place. I keep forgetting that Adrian was in the hospital in Rocky II, so it had more meaning that when she was finally aboard for the fight, that Rocky gave it all in his training montage.

I like Rocky V more than Rocky IV. Hey, that's alright. I mean, it's your opinion, and maybe someday...you can change. And I can change. AND EVERYBODY CAN CHANGE! I love ROCKY IV. Is it ridiculous and stupid and over-the-top? Yes, and that's why I love ROCKY IV!

Rocky V is actually my 3rd favorite Rocky movie, after I and II.
III and IV are just too silly, but I still love all 6 movies.

The one thing I get mad at is that you can't find the music they used for the street fight between balboa and tommy gunn. And I enjoyed that street fight!
