Diamond Dallas Page recently tweeted, "IT's Official! I will Host "The BEST OF NITRO"! This a Great thing for the WCW/NWO/WWE fans! Plus a Great way for DDP to return to the WWE!" And later, "I'm already getting hit with Questions! Ha! This "Best of Nitro" is a DVD box collection that will include the years 95/96, 97/98 & 99/2001" (credit 411) I guess this post can go in this forum since it is a WWE DVD. Anyway this dvd sounds like it could be pretty awesome, and made even better with the return of DDP to host it  |

It's probably actually 1999 to 2001. Don't know what might be on it besides some matches from that period though. Maybe that Three Count / Noble & somebody / Jung Dragons match? Was on the ladder match set and was really good.

The want level has been exponentially increased by the fact that DDP will host.
Hope it means him coming back in some capacity since the man does/did it all from on the stage to behind the curtains. Probably not, but its more possible now than I thought it was.

The only good thing about 2000 is ruined by revisionist history. Blast! |

I hope this is going to be a documentary style dvd and not just a series of matches. No doubt. I honestly need only so many of the classic matches. Kind of like those "story of the Super Bowl" things. I like it broke down and recounted instead of going through each and every play. |
