Kong comes in as the Bellas enforcer to get revenge on Bryan and Gail.

Bastina Booger Edit: Also I still doubt she will be named Kong, not just from the copyright thing (afterall they could go to uh... Astonishing Kong) but because I could see them being wary of Having a large black woman with a name that people associate with gorillas. Yes I know that's not where her name comes from... but say Kong and I bet people think of King or Donkey before Aja. But then again this is the same company that had Mark Henry call himself a silverback for months...

You're assuming she's been fast-tracked to the company and won't go through FCW.
Unless I'm missing something...

I hate to be the cynical jerk here, but I think you guys may be getting too excited about her debut. Who's to say that she won't go through FCW first? Basically everybody that the company hires goes through development first. Punk, Bryan and Kaval were some of the most experienced and well known new hires in the last decade, and even they spent a good amount of time in development. I do understand that Kong will instantly command attention from the fans simply by being unlike anything the women's division has ever seen, but I don't fully trust WWE to see things that way. I understand your logic, but the storylines for the divas division seem to indicate to me, in my own opinion, that WWE is planning to pull the trigger on Kong at the Royal Rumble or one night after. Currently Lay-cool is getting all sorts of massacred by the team of Nattie/Phoenix, with Phoenix having the push as an unstoppable warrior Lay-cool can't find any weaknesses in. If they planned to have any hope of getting their title back, they need someone to give them a boost. Nearly everyone on the diva squad has been defeated by Nattie or Phoenix, and they probably aren't trusted by anyone as well. So the logical step is to go out and find someone to take out their greatest threats. Kong. I also find an indicator, even though its weak, that Gail Kim is actually getting a push on RAW. There is great history between the two and maybe they company will see that feud be re-ignited in the future, or as a backup plan in case someone gets injured. With 40 entrants in the Royal Rumble and no Diva's Championship match for her, Phoenix has nothing better to do than to enter the battle Royal again, and since it would make the most shockwaves, and have the best chance to boost ratings. I think Kong coming out soon after her would be the logical step This is what I feel following the storylines, WWE has been known to underrcut them as they've gotten good, but I think with nothing really riding on the Diva's they'd be more inclined to take a chance. Yea, I see your point about the Divas division being set up for it, but you've got to remember that WWE doesn't always progress stories in the way that makes the most sense. Actually, I'd say they rarely do that. Personally, I want to see her debut soon..she may actually get me interested in WWE's women wrestling again. I have no problem seeing Kong vs. Gail Kim or Nattie again, or Kong vs. Beth. About her name...couldn't she just go back to Amazing Kong? That was her pre-TNA name. Or does TNA somehow own that as well as Awesome Kong?

There's not a lot of faith behind the WWE Diva's division, unlike the RAW Main event scene, which I think was a factor in the Nexus Storyline being so undercutted in the end. They felt they had too much riding on Cena and his merch. But you're probably right, they do tend to mess guarenteed things up at an alarmingly high rate.

Why does she have to be associated with Laycool? Just have her crush the winner of the Laycool vs Nattie match. Then have her just run through the division until there is no one left but Beth Phoenix and have it build to that.
I would actually have Laycool win against Nattie. Have Kong come out and crush both Laycool and Nattie. Then have Nattie get her rematch against Laycool after wards Kong crushes both of them again.
Then on Raw have her just win in squash matches against the lesser divas like Melina, Bellas, Kelly Kelly, Gail Kim, Termina, and Rosa. Then have Kong win a number contenders match against Nattie and set up a feud with Laycool. Have it play out similarly to the feud she had with the Beautiful People in TNA where they consitantly were insulting her looks and such. She wins the title from Laycool after a nice feud then you put her in an angle with Beth Phoenix.
Its just too simple to book why have her be a pawn for Laycool?

When Undertaker returns, she should storm the ring and beat the holy hell out off him, thus setting up a Mania match where Kong wins. I am dead serious by the way.

I am dead serious by the way. sadly, given wwe's additude towards intergender wrestling, it won't happen. But, this would be awesome in so many ways. It could be a scenario straight from Lord of the rings return of the king. the Undertaker would be the witch king of endor and Kong would be Ewoyn. "No man can defeat me." "I am no man" I would be very unique and because of that uniqueness the streak would be in jepardy. Also, the explosion on this board would be amazing.

I love the hell out of Kong, but I'm not sure ANYONE should break the Streak, least of all her. I'd take her over half of the roster right now, but when he's gone through HBK twice, Flair, Trips in his prime, Edge, Batista, Kane twice, Diesel, Sid, Orton...it just wouldn't make sense for Kong to take him out.

I don't see them sending a ring veteran like Kong to FCW. Didn't Bryan and Kaval both spend time in FCW? Indeed Albeit admittedly Bryan requested to go to work off ring rust. Being a ring veteran doesn't matter generally though, half the reason you're put in FCW is to learn the "WWE Style" of wrestling.

I just wouldn't be surprised in the least if they skip FCW and have her compete in the Rumble.

He actually didn't have many matches there; in fact, the match he had with Kaval there might have been the only one before he was brought up for NXT. He was literally in FCW for two weeks.

Kong is the Andre of the women's division. She doesn't need to do much in the ring to get over and doesn't need to learn anything. She needs to stay upright, kill bitches and profit. Basically what she was doing in TNA for the first eight months of the women's division.
And no, there would be no purpose sending her to FCW. She's not like the Amazon chick who didn't know a blue line from a clothesline. Plus she doesn't need to work the WWE style but rather the giant-who-kills-everyone style which is what she's been doing for five-plus years.

Seriously, she won't go to FCW. She spent a fair time as a draw in TNA so she knows all about being about to work a match for TV and she's wrestled in Japan since she debuted. When she debuts, she'll be one of the most experienced womans wrestlers to pass through.

i did find it interesting that WWE signs Kong and suddenly there's a Gail Kim sighting again- even if she's going to be tied up in a Bella twins feud for a bit.

But on the other hand, CM Punk was in FCW for over a year. (Er, the FCW equivalent of the time.) So being experienced doesn't mean you get to skip it.
