To those who are mentioning Foley...back in '96 some thought that with the Mankind gimmick Mick was sunk in the WWF and predicted that he would be buried (no pun intended) in a feud with Taker and yet what made the difference to his career and future in the promotion was Taker jobbing to him at consecutive PPVS which, back then, surprised the hell out of anyone.

I give up. If this guy is that set on Undertaker losing just because he think that will somehow make Barrett THE guy in the WWE, then more power to him. But even when he is gone, streak intact, the WWE will always have Undertaker hanging over WrestleMania.

While I believe Barrett would/could become ME fixture for years to come, I would really be (most Likely) turned off by WWE for a while if the streak is broken. Kindah depressing. I probably would be in minority and Cena/Orton/Mysterio could be what draws majority of fans in. But I would eventually get over it though would be enormously sad about it. It's just that I like the streak (not exactly same as liking Undertaker though Undertaker is one of my fav's) just as I like my fav Sports club. That's what I feel about the Streak. As for Undertaker to go out, let him go out "on his back" at SS in a Hell in a Cell Last Ride Buried Alive Casket Match.

Pass the torch to a guy who got completely buried by Cena for 6 months, I am overwhelmed.

Barrett is not the guy for this. At this point I feel like Taker should retire with the streak intact, but I wouldn't be heartbroken if he lost it to the right guy. Honestly, the only time I thought that he should lose the streak was when he fought Orton, and in hindsight I'm glad that he didn't.

I could see Undertaker being okay with breaking the streak if he really thought he was helping someone ascend to that top top tier of the Austins, Rocks, HBK's, Takers, and yes even Cenas.
But I don't see Barret ever being at that level. I think he has the talent to be a main eventer, but more along the level of a Big Show, Jericho (great but not quite at that top tier unfortunately), Rey Mysterio, etc.

I've no doubt that Barrett will be the one to take on 'Taker at 'Mania, but no way he's winning there.
