Does this mean when Barrett returns he's a face? I think he'll reveal Punk and his mission as the "bigger picture" he was talking about. Aside from the fact that they beat up CM Punk when they debuted. Hell, Punk even tried saving Cena at one point.

I loved it as an ending to RAW, and if they play it off like the ending of a SAW film with Punk being the bigger picture all along, with all of the pieces falling into place, it will be great. I'm a bit worried for Barrett, but I'm happy with where this is going. Hopefully they hold off until 'Mania for Punk/Cena, using Cena/Otunga or something at the Rumble as a placeholder.

I liked Raw, but I don't like Punk being leader of Nexus. It makes no sense, especially if it's retroactive, and I'd really just as soon see the group die already - especially if it doesn't have Barrett. Honestly, I was thinking throughout the show - up until the thing with the EMTs - that Punk was going to be the GM. Which makes a lot more sense. Why doesn't it make sense? The kicking out of Darren Young and the beatdown on Undertaker make it seem as if Punk is using them to go after people who have pissed him off in the past. For one thing, Punk was busy at SummerSlam with two losers and getting his ass stomped by Big Show while Nexus was busy destroying everything in sight. He could've easily had them run in and take out Big Show to prove their point instead of Ziggler and Kofi. Really, that's the main flaw with the whole thing - Nexus has in general been more credible than Punk has.

Put Barrett on Smackdown and keep him a heel. I can see this happening. Smackdown needs some new people and Barrett could be new challenges for Edge and Undertaker(when he returns). Not saying it will happen but it wouldn't surprise me.

I'm unofficially renaming the group the "Nexus Society" (patent pending).

If Wade doesn't come back next week, I'm pretty sure I'll cry.
But I marked when Punk put on that armband.

In booking terms neither Punk or Nexus have been credible at all, which is why this has every sign of being pointless.

The bad news is, I still don't see Cena losing a feud, ever. He really is this generation's Hogan, and if this rolls out into Cena/Punk at Mania, no way does Punk go over. But tonight... oh, tonight, I'll just sit back, raise my fist to the sky and loudly proclaim "WE ARE ONE. WE ARE ONE. WE ARE BETTER THAN YOU."

I'll truly be disappointed if we've seen the last of Wade Barrett.
Maybe it's time for Wade, Skip, Darren Young, Percy Watson, A-Ri, and Tarver to create their own anti-nexus...

The SES was such major suckage that I'm apprehensive seeing Punk in the leader role against the last son of Krypton.
BUT the whole bit with him sitting in the chair and putting on the armband was a cool visual.
And the Punk promos should rule.

They went with "Punk and Black Attack"

I'm curious how Barrett will play into this. Feud with Punk/Barrett? Punk being the original secret leader of Nexus? It could be interesting, IMO. Although why do all the main eventers always wear the Nexus armbands on the left arm insted of the right? I think it's more likely that Barrett has been usurped from The Nexus. Remember he's had beef with Otunga lately. Nexus attacks Cena again down the road, with Barrett returning. Punk hands Barrett a chair to finish Cena off. Barrett teases destroying Cena, then turns against the group, leading to Cena and Barrett having a "mutual respect" and fighting to rid The Nexus once and for all.

Buried under a pile of chairs. He came back to entertainment the troops. Unless more chairs fell on him after that. Whenever they mention Barrett, it's when he's under the chairs. So I guess Tribute to the Troops doesn't count.
