Loved it. Although given the mentions by Punk and some past feudings that maybe Batista is at the end of this rainbow. Would be fabulous, Nxt begain around the time of Batista's last feud in the E with Cena. Maybe they'll reveal that he convinced them of this while backstage on Nxt. He then convinced his "good friend" CM Punk to join in on the fun only later after he was done with his SES.
Anything to see over the top heel Dave again. Although I'm just glad they are still doing stuff with this angle. I like long lasting angles like this. Its been awhile.

this is why you write big angles beginning to end from the start, so you dont have to retcon TNA style and fit it to make sense But then people get injured or fired, the crowd responds completely differently from expected, or many other things that mean you have to completely change it anyways.

SES wasn't a stable it was Punk with a valet and a bodyguard, then a 2nd bodyguard. Punk in Nexus might be what SES could have been, Barrett will show up on SD! To face Edge since Smackdown is lacking in heels right now, then Barrett will face Taker at Mania if Taker is healed by that time. To be honest I think he could be the guy to break the streak. Barrett? The guy that got owned by Cena every week? I can't see anyway he would break that streak. If HBK couldn't do it, there is no possible way to make Barrett look good enough in 2 months, for that to seem believable.

Here's a question. If Punk was behind it from day one, does that mean he's got an axe to grind with Daniel Bryan for "regretting his actions"?

Again with that whole "its because it is Punk" thing, that is total bulls*** (regarding my opinion anyway) Punk has gone from being stale on SD, taking out Bourne in the mid card, being a commentator and now starting a feud with Cena which also incorporates the Nexus (however long that lasts). My point is that the reason people are liking it is because it is DIFFERENT. Punk is generally treated different it seems. That is something we should all be welcoming surely? Because it's really easy to imagine that if it WAS Otunga or say...HHH in Punk's spot right now it'd be getting s*** on way more than it has. And it's not a new angle...it's a continuation of a neverending Cena vs. Nexus angle in which Nexus has already been shown to be worthless in. But it isn't about HHH, that is just bringing in random names the point is that this angle just adds to the whole difference thing. If this goes all the way to WM, then that is awesome because then Punk is back up in the main event scene. That can't be a bad thing can it? It is a new angle because the focus is Punk and Cena, surely that is clear?

I wanna know why it took Gabriel forever to realize he was supposed to raise his arm. Checkin' out the knockers in Section 133 Row J Seat 15. The kind of knockers that could crush a beer can. The ones that if Gallagher had, he'd use it for his watermelon skit.

I support the idea of shipping Barrett to SmackDown, having him win the Elimination Chamber, and him facing Taker on the Mania undercard. It'd be a lot to repair his credibility and get him away from the failure that is Nexus, and it'd be the most Mania-worthy match SmackDown could put out at this point.
I mean, really, what's your alternative, Taker / del Rio? Edge / Mysterio?

If next week's confrontation had Punk saying the phrase ' who said I was the new management?' and then Dave's music hit ( which ALSO opens with the phrase about walking alone) and you had Batista AND Punk in said stable, I'd be for that.

I must say i think you have a much different view of the angle than I do Nexes made Cena their slave and got him fired the idea that they are worthless because they got beat up by sneak attacks at a payperview after months of domination seems insane to me. I really feel like you are watching a completely different show for the last few months than i have been watching. I see Nexus as a very strong stable that has had two real setbacks since they formed. They are as far from worthless as a stable can get.

Because it's really easy to imagine that if it WAS Otunga or say...HHH in Punk's spot right now it'd be getting s*** on way more than it has. Well... yeah. No one should have to pretend like every single wrestler is equally entertaining, even when they aren't. Of course I wouldn't be as excited if it were Otunga. Otunga is green, and not a lot of fun. CM Punk, on the other hand, is experienced and a ton of fun. Ergo, I am more excited to see what CM Punk will bring to the table as the leader than I would be to see what Otunga would bring.

i will stand by that i like that Punk is with Nexus...but honestly, wwe could care less if the internet dosent find nexus to be a threat anymore...Nexus still look threatening to little kids...and little kids have moms and dads that will buy them cena merch to support there hero...buy cena dvd's to support there hero...or if the kids is more of a rebel...will buy him a nexus shirt and a nexus armband...because wwe see's things as Kids = Money as long a the kiddies have MONEY...everything will be good! It`s not kids who have money, it's the parents.

Nobody stands out in the group. Otunga can talk but can't wrestle. Gabriel can wrestle but can't talk. Slater is just...there. Husky and Hennig haven't done ANYTHING of note at all. I would be surprised if the fans even knew who they were. It just seems like a bunch of guys with no personalities following one charismatic guy. The Horsemen all had charisma and could work. The original nWo had credibility and were bad asses. Dx all had distinct personalities. The Hart Foundation, same thing. Yeah they had a leader, but the leader never really out shined everyone else in the group.

I would love to have him back but it is quite clear from the reaction tonight that we don't need to have any other big names added to this angle! I wish my first 57 posts had that same level of depth.

I'm curious how Barrett will play into this. Feud with Punk/Barrett? Punk being the original secret leader of Nexus? It could be interesting, IMO. Although why do all the main eventers always wear the Nexus armbands on the left arm insted of the right? I think it's more likely that Barrett has been usurped from The Nexus. Remember he's had beef with Otunga lately. Nexus attacks Cena again down the road, with Barrett returning. Punk hands Barrett a chair to finish Cena off. Barrett teases destroying Cena, then turns against the group, leading to Cena and Barrett having a "mutual respect" and fighting to rid The Nexus once and for all. Other than the fact Wade was the face of Nexus, single handedly responsible for the group staying over cause he is both a great wrestler and heat machine talker. I like this idea.
