At one point Hogan and Khali were rumored to be the representatives, as well. Oh yes, 20 years after Hogan / Andre I also remember Hogan vs Big Show as a rumor. In addition to that, Khali vs Cena with an Attitude Adjustment on Khali to be symbolic of the slam.

I remember it too, It was to recreate the hogan Andre slam for the new generation. I'll add WCW vs WWF WM, The original was to have an all wcw team v and all wwf team in a elimination type match to determine who got control of it all ( this was an early pre feuding McMahon's idea I had read on a reputable site whose name escapes me)

-Before Hogan came back I remember the plan for Wrestlemania 18 was to finally have a Rock vs HHH vs Austin match. -Benoit vs.Punk-we all know why that never happened

Vince vs Undertaker. Remember, the Breaking Point screwjob, the foreshadowing...? The way they were initially entwining the two angles, I originally expected we were going to get Bret and Vince in Undertaker and Michaels' corners for the Wrestlemania match. It would've been a better fit than trying to tie in Cena/Batista, IMO. Then again, HBK's retirement was big enough in of itself that it didn't need any additional subplots.

WM26 - Cena+Hart v Batista+McMahon (wwe title) I remember reading on one of "those" sites that WWE was going to turn the Cena vs Batista match into a tag match with the title on the line. When Vince did the screwjob at EC I actually bought into the idea for a number of weeks, until it became obvious they were actually going to put Bret in a match on his own.
WM26 - Chyna v Beth Again, I remember reading WWE were namedropping Chyna to try and coax her back into one match. Nothing came of it though.
WM25 - Jericho vs Roake (However you spell it) This one seemed destined to happen. Then his advisors got cold feet when his oscar chances began to tank.

Ultimate Warrior and Vader were rumored to feud in the fall of 1996.
I also read a rumor that Ultimate Warrior was going to take on Bret Hart at the 1993 Royal Rumble.

It was going to happen with Warrior and Vader. But Warrior left before it happened. They did several house shows during the summer. I was at one like two week before KOTR. They had a match on it.

The three big guys in the WWF at the time about to go at it, and it didn't happen because of Austin's neck. I understand why it didn't happen at Survivor Series 99, but I never got why they didn't reschedule it!

Wasn't the Punjabi prison match supposed to be Undertaker Vs Kahli, then it got switched to Batista and then the Big Show or something like that?

Wasn't the Punjabi prison match supposed to be Undertaker Vs Kahli, then it got switched to Batista and then the Big Show or something like that? It was Taker Vs Big Show, after Khali got found with elevated enzymes. Batista took on Khali in the Punjabi prision match, and it wasn't that bad for a Khali match

Undertaker/Sting
It'll probably never happen with Taker retiring within the next couple of years and Sting being reluctant to work for Vince. Wrestlemania 27 @ the Georgia Dome would have been the perfect time to pull the trigger on this dream match. Alas....
