For those of you who watch WWE, what grade would you give them for the year?

A solid "C". They had a lot of good but, some things that left me disappointed. Throw in guys like Taker, HBK, HHH and Punk missing good chunks of time and it broke even for me.

C-
Safe style could be applied to not only the wrestling, but also the fact that don't take enough chances when it comes to angles or stars.

D: Needs improvement.
While they have been pushing some new faces (Miz, Nexus, Del Rio) and trying to change things up a little, they still have some problems. They still need to improve their booking based on their less than stellar buyrates as of late. They also need to stop with the useless yo yo pushes as well as making their up and coming stars look like jokes. NXT may be entertaining but it's not gonna be making any new stars, especially when they don't even give them a chance. Kaval/Kaitlyn anyone? Why should I care about who wins if there doesn't seem to be any benefit for said winner? I'm sorry, but I don't want to sit through a show for twelve weeks just to see the victor become a jobber.
That said, it wasn't a terrible year at least. At least everything seems a bit more fresh nowadays.

Giving it a "B" considering it was a year missing HH, HBK, and Undertaker they did a good job establishing some new stars, and bringing a bit of life back to the midcard and even the Divas division has improved. They really shook off the stink from last years crap.

I voted C+ but am already questioning that two seconds later.
They did some really good things this year, but my distaste for a lot of the things they've done to the mid/lower cards has killed it for me.

B, the E would have gained an A from me if it wasn't for their terrible booking of the Nexus Angle & the release of Kaval.

Since I did a full (read: half-assed) report for TNA, I think I'll do one here.
Main Event Roster: A
Aside from the usual suspects, WWE surprised the living hell out of me and invited some newcomers into the main event. Miz coming into his own as a champion is truly my moment of the year. If anything, the whole forming of Nexus makes up for anything I didn't like (Kane vs. Edge) for much of the year. And also, Dos Caras, Jr. is a main event player on WWE television, how cool is THAT?
Tag Division: C-
And I'm being kind. If WWE would stop splitting their teams as soon as they break up, I might have given them a better grade, but as it is, there's no such thing as a star tag team in WWE anymore, which really bites.
Mid-Card: A+
This is the very best roster WWE has had in years. For once in a long, long time, the IC and US titles have felt like they meant something, almost on par with the World and WWE titles. Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler are the perfect US and IC champions to have right now.
Women's/Diva Division: B+
For a while, I considered a lower grade, but ladies roster is one Awesome Kong away from being the best roster in televised wrestling right now. Nattie and Beth are the clear workhorses, but give it up for McCool and Layla stepping it up this year. They're everything the Beautiful People are supposed to be.
Announcing: C
Again, I considered a lower grade, but after thinking about it, Lawler is doing the best he's ever been, Michael Cole is at least trying, Josh Matthews is always gonna be great, and of course there were the few glorious weeks of CM Punk's run as color commentator...
Overall grade: A
This is the absolute strongest year WWE has had in a while, and I already liked the last few years. If WWE can continue down this path (making a few minor changes where it counts, namely in the tag division), WWE may very well have the biggest boom period its had since the Attitude Era...only I'll actually like the wrestling.

A solid B. I would have given it a B+ if Miz wasn't WWE Champion.

I gave them an "A". They lost a ton of main eventers, went through a lackluster "PG" phase, had a bunch of stupid gimmick PPVs, and threw a bunch of new names into the mainstream.
Business is probably down but the future looks good. TNA people like to talk about their roster being "the most talented" or whatever, but it isn't true.
WWE has Ziggler, Bryan, Kofi, Swagger, Sheamus, Bourne, Del Rio, Cody, Kidd, Morrison, Punk, and Barrett. And that's not even taking into account Cena, Orton, Rey, Taker, Edge, Tripper, etc.
They've laid a groundwork that should sustain them, at least.

B+ I like to divide up the wwe year into quarters. The road to wrestlemania, (January-April.) Mania hangover (April-Early June) Summer(July-September) and the Fall(October-December) This years road to wrestlemania was great, with the Streak vs Career drama, Cena vs Batista. Wrestlemania was not the greatest edition, but a very solid show, which was huge rebound from 25. Cena/Batista feud was great feud that carried into the post mania period. As we went into summer, the WWE seemed to have a void, with the departures of HBK, Batista, and they werent oing much with Orton. But they did a great job in creating new great television with the Nexus. Evey show of the summer seemed to be exciting. This is also the first yeat, since maybe around 02/03 where the e tried to create new stars at a pretty goood frequency. Barrett and Miz have became legit main eventers. They are booking Bryan and Morrison to become future contenders. The IC title has had a great title holder for the first time in ages. this year has been a great turning point in terms of looking forward to the future. If the ppvs have been better, this couldve been an A. most of the excitng stuff seemed to take place on TV. PPVs besides mania and mitb have been letdowns imo.

B+. They had some good matches like Punk/Rey and the beginning of the year with Big Dave. I also like the rise of the Midcarders like Cody Rhodes, Santino, Dolph Ziggler and Alberto Del Rio. The Horrid booking of Smackdown lately and the botch of the Nexus angle makes me not give WWE an A.

Gave them a B-. Would have been a great year had it not been for the botching of the Nexus angle, Cena not honouring being fired, Kane vs. Edge, the mishandling of Bret Hart, the initial firing of Daniel Bryan, several big stars leaving and not really being replaced, and the Divas division being ruined with the firing of Mickie James.
