Just updated my sig for when this Wade nonsense airs.
BTW I figured it out. Raw is the "A" Show, the "Big" Show of WWE. Since he couldn't take down Raw, he's going to take down the other Big Show.

Hiya, long time lurker, first time poster.
Anyways, just read Big Show got some TV role on Nick, maybe Barrett's attack will give him a week or so off to film the pilot? Just a thought

Love that Dolph got elevated. Don't like Barrett's move, but I'll wait and see what happens.
And assuming Ziggler wins the championship down the line, that would only leave McIntyre as far as all the members of Team Miz winning world championships.

Sounds like a great episode of Smackdown. A little disappointed that Dolph lost the belt since he's obviously not going to win at the Rumble, but it's all good. At least he's getting a World Title match under his belt.

Ziggler is an obvious "Jobber at the Rumble" style contender. Truth be told it was only a matter of time before they made the Vickie/Edge connection and feuded Ziggler with Edge, so just get it out of the way and let Edge get an easy win. I do wonder why after all this time with Kofi chasing the IC title they would simply put the belt on him at a random SD rather than at the last PPV in a 3 way ladder match where Dolph wouldn't even have to get pinned. Swagger was right there to do the job via proxy.
Ah well, at least Del Rio got the win over Rey so the show isn't a total loss.

i think it is more of an elevation for dolph ziggler in the long term i would be surprised if he wasn't in the elimination chamber now, perhaps win money in the bank?

I've said it before and I will say it again. THERE IS NO SENSE OF ANY LOGIC WHATSOEVER IN THE WWE. And apparently WWE is doing such a great job to keep itself separated from logic. So, kudos in a way.

Barrett attacking Big Show is simple. Barrett gets drafted to Smackdown against his will, decides to make the best of it and take out one of Smackdown's biggest dogs, literally. It's Booking 101.

So glad that Del Rio finally got a win over Mysterio. Now will Mysterio please retire or start putting other people over now in the process?

My guess is they'll say Barrett was moved to SD for some reason (free agent/trade/asked to be moved) and he wanted to take out the biggest guy first to make a big impact.
Thinks it sets up for Barrett to be involved in the Taker match at WM27. My guess is Kane vs. Barrett vs. Undertaker. Takes the pressure of a banged up taker and lets them add suspense to the streak by saying Taker doesn't even have to be pinned or submitted to lose the streak.

This thread is hilarious, why are you guys attempting to find logic in WWE booking?

If Wade is on Smackdown now, does that mean that whatever "higher purpose" and/or reason for attacking the Undertaker that the Nexus had (which David Otunga threatened to reveal) is canned?
Because if so, this is some superbly shitty storytelling.

*Kofi Kingston pinned Dolph Ziggler to win the WWE Intercontinental championship. Post match, Dolph attacked Kingston. Vickie Guerrero cuts a promo demanding a restart and there was so much crowd heat, you couldn't make out what she said. Kingston then wins again.
