So, these days I usually see Raw maybe once a month (although, I just got a DVR for Christmas so that'll change) and I usually end up seeing a crap episode and don't regret missing it most weeks, however I gotta say tonight I was really impressed.
There were 2 solid 20 minute matches, a short, fun tag match, a good 10 minute Truth/ADR match, and an awesome Nexus/Punk promo. I've got no complaints about anything, and I gotta say for the first time in a while I'm excited to tune in next week.
So, I figured I'd just give WWE props for getting a lapsed fan excited for Raw again.

The cage match felt really plodding to me. The WWE title match was really good though.

"Pretty Entertaining?"
IT WAS FREAKING GENIUS AND I LOVED IT. TOTALLY UNPREDICTABLE (for me); I literally didn't KNOW FOR SURE who was going to win ANY of the matches. That's a lot to say right there.
AMAZING WWE TITLE MATCH Fun tag match FUN DIVAS MATCH!? FUN MIDCARD DEL RIO TRUTH AWESOME GOOD Really good plot stuff with Nexus ORTON VOWS TO SHOW NO HUMAN COMPASSION and then TOTALLY UNPREDICTABLE CAGE MATCH (slow but I really wasn't sure who would win, and wasn't even certain Punk would screw Barrett)
I loved it. Loved it.

It's been very solid the last few weeks to me, and tonight was no exception. Last week was pretty awesome as well.

No John Cena = GREAT Monday Night Raw This, hehe! The tension of waiting waiting waiting for that dreaded moment when Cena would show... and then realizing that the show was over and Cena hadn't shown up? Lovely! But, yes. This was one of the better episodes.

Aside from the fact that I don't get my Barrett/Punk superteam, and the Royal Rumble's main event is destined to be dull, the show was damn good.

Awesome episode.
If the WWE stick to the same forumular for Raw in future then the show is gonna be great.
A 15-20 minute opener A 5 minute filler match A short diva match A 10 minute mid-card match A 20 minute main event
Minimum sillyness and nonsense backstage and short but to the point promos.
Was an excellat episode, fingers crossed future shows are like this.

This was honestly the best Raw or Smackdown taping Phoenix has had in a loooooong time!!!
I was very pleased with the entire show as a whole. Hell, I even enjoyed the Diva's Match & that's shocking for me to say!
My only problem was when they decided to give the Diva's a live mic....the promos were lame.

It was a good was to kick of the RAW with the WWE Championship match. That was a good way to get people into the show.
But, with the cage match, I was 8000% sure Orton was going to win. Even though it was predicatible, it still was a good match.
The show was good overall for me. Good RAW to kick off 2011.

Knowing that a heel wouldnt win since the wwe champ is one. We once had a Rumble with Kurt Angle defending the belt against Triple H! Both were heels. I thought perhaps Wade was gonna win because Rumble title defenses are mostly meaningless, and the Punk/Barrett angle could extend into even bigger territory.

But that was about 10 years ago and obviously the creative team wasnt as damn predictable back then as they are now. So I saw Orton winning the moment the match was announced.

It was weird for me- I knew Orton was going to win, without a doubt, but I somehow still managed to get excited and all *~*hopeful*~* that Barrett or Sheamus would win. Not sure why, but I ended up really getting into it.

I enjoyed it, as I usually do with the wrestling-heavy shows.
Miz/Morrison was really fun, and did showcase JoMo well, even if once again the WWE refuses to really elevate somebody to main event status, and play it safe by giving Orton a title shot at the Rumble.
Del Rio/Truth was fun, although I'm not sure why they needed ADR to be on the show.

Really enjoyed it. Loved the WWE title match, absolutely awesome. The cage had a good finish (predictable result) and all of the Punk/Barrett/Nexus stuff is interesting.
This is the best time of the year for WWE (leading up to WM) so I'm looking forward to the next few weeks. Plenty of things to be intrigued about.

With Barrett winning, we would have had the Nexus boiling down and Miz getting attacked every week. Much better program than the Orton redux.

I know. It was like the movie "It's a Wonderful life" and John Cena was George Bailey, only it was a good thing that he was never born
Clarance: See John Cena the Miz can now look credible on RAW, with much needed airtime because you weren't there to steal it. You were never born.
Clarence: Look, John, underused talent can finally shine because WWE doesn't have you to throw all over show and is forced to put its good talent to work.
Clarence: Heels have become in depth characters with much credibility as you were never there to bury them.

RAW was like a toothpaste sandwhich. The bread on the top and the bottom were good, but the middle tasted like crap.
