What could have been ... WWE really dropped the ball on this.... It's not WWE's fault the crowd got behind Orton when they wanted them to get behind Dibiase, although they wanted it done fresh off Legacy's feud with DX.

...ouch??? What could have been ... WWE really dropped the ball on this.... Frankly I'm glad this was a never was. They didn't drop the ball. They put it through the uprights and won the game. When it involved Cody however...fumble. Agreed, they set things up perfectly for a Cody face turn there, and the crowd was actually behind him. They f***ed up big time not going through with that. That was one of the main reasons I was convinced WWE was going to drop the ball with Cody entirely. I figured that they'd favor Ted and let Cody end up a boring jobber who only has a job because daddy works for the company. I'm still kind of surprised that somebody managed to figure out that Cody has natural charisma and let him bank on it, because he did one hell of a job hiding it while he was in Legacy.

Well that's what happens when you hang around Orton all the time; you become an emotionless robot. Poor Ted has never recovered. But I'm glad we have "Dashing" Cody Rhodes today. Cody managed to take an extremely stale gimmick and make it great.

This shows one you're always one of my favorite posters, Citten I love the 'Dashing' Cody Rhodes gimmick. I also was one of the (at the time) few Cody supporters saying he was going to be bigger then DiBiase..I love that its true.

I also was one of the (at the time) few Cody supporters saying he was going to be bigger then DiBiase..I love that its true. High five for Cody support! I always stood behind him. It actually goes back to Dusty's HoF induction for me, which was before Cody even debuted. He just had such a natural charm to him. I watched several interviews he did about his family, and you could just tell that he knew how to talk... And then you looked at him on TV, and he went from bland white meat babyface to bland Orton clone #2, and everybody was talking about how he had no charisma, no personality, nothing. I knew there was more to him than what he was giving us. I also knew he was a lot better in the ring than he was giving us - He was doing exactly what he was told to do - be an Orton clone. Cody knows what he's doing, and he's VERY talented. He has a knack for doing small things that make the match that much better. The problem was his booking, plain and simple. When they moved Cody to Smackdown and he had his debut match against Christian, and suddenly everybody was going "Holy shit, Cody's actually good!" I was so happy. Then a month or two later, he became Dashing, and the rest is history. Annnd since this is the picture thread, here's a picture of Cody being cute:

Not to burst your bubble, to the woman to the left of Hunter voices Lisa on The Simpsons . lol I know Who's the other girl though? Don't know her name, but I'm pretty sure that's one of the daughters off Modern Family.
