Why are they stalling so much on Smackdown by not showing this guy?
I understand build up like they gave Del Rio, but Zeke debuted 2 years ago and has already appeared in two video games, he was even at a PPV a few months ago, had some matches on RAW and was a main eventer in ECW, don't you think someone would know who he is by now? What was even the point of drafting him to RAW during his injury, just after moving from ECW to Smackdown?
I was expecting him to show up on Smackdown straight away and become a big deal, but all they can give us are the same 'Good Guys vs Bad Guys' tag team matches and Big Show squash matches? You have a chance to establish someone who looks impressive, a chance to give your show something refreshing and exciting, but they're just stalling by giving us the same old crap.
Hurry up and give us some domination!

I for one can't wait for this guy to debut! He looks awesome, wonder what he's like in the ring though.

I guess they had plans for him on RAW but he got hurt and the plans changed. So now they are moving him back to SD where they need people.

Hell, what was the point of hyping his imminent debut on SmackDown for like two months after ECW ended when he one had already been on SmackDown and two was coming off of having just won the ECW title? By the time he debuted it didn't matter one bit.

He seems to be injury prone though. I guess the 'E is scared that they will build him up, and then he'll get injured again.
I do mark for the guy though. Even though he did look very rusty when he came back from injury for Bragging Rights.

I've always wondered why the WWE expects us to be excited for his debut.
I mean, it's not like anybodies ever really gave a toss about him in the past 2 years and it seems all the WWE can do with Zeke is give him a number of squash matches before taking him off television again.
Kinda shocked that Zeke hasn't been future endeavoured yet tbh since I've nothing from him which screams 'star'. He's just a boring, giant hoss the likes of which we've seen countless times before.

They're building him up so It'll look like a bigger deal when he wins the Intercontinental Title.

You can't just release everyone who doesn't have "star" power, or the WWE would be out of business in weeks. Smackdown has a roster of what 17? You can't really get too picky, and there currently are much worse superstars than Big Zeke.

Besides there are plenty of people still on the Smackdown roster who aren't stars.

Smackdown's roster is that low exactly because they fired everybody who wasn't a star Oh, it's not just that. They also booked everyone who stuck around so horribly and apathetically that they got fed up and quit, too. As for Zeke, I think the WWE bookers on both shows genuinely have no idea what to do with him, ergo his random face turn and his hyped return(s) amounting to squash matches on Superstars and lots and lots of stalling. They'd be jobbing him out as a talent enhancement, except that he has big muscles, which automatically makes him more valuable than those peons like Kaval who have nothing going for them except being spectacularly talented.

I think Zeke has a tonne of potential, and I've always said so. He had a series of good matches with Christian, and I'd like to see him get some competitive matches when he re-debuts on Smackdown, rather than squash after squash like he did on RAW.
Also, people always say this about him, but he's had ONE injury. How on earth does that make him injury-prone?!?!
As for the video packages, they did the same thing with Maria when she was drafted over to Smackdown. Week after week of "Maria is coming to Smackdown!". Really it achieved nothing because she got on Smackdown and did exactly what she did on RAW. Which is probably what will happen with Zeke.

I think they're waiting until the new year, then giving him squashes until the Rumble where he's going to have a good run in the Rumble (Heel or Face)
OR
He's going to take issues with Drew beating up Kaval, a guy this week (Slight Spoiler), etc.. (Face)

He's had more "Coming Soon" promos than matches. He's this generation's Outback Jack.

With MVP quitting, they were down 1 Black guy, so they just moved Zeke to SD. He was supposed to show up 2 weeks ago, but I guess he's running on CP Time. He'll show up around May 23.
