To Australian and New Zealand users. The titles maybe limited at the moment, but hopefully much more titles to be added in future. See the problem Australia wise was it took so long to get here that when rumors started up last year that Netflix was coming Fox and Channel 7 launched Presto and the Nine Network launched Stan in hoping to cut Netflix off at the pass.. Quickflix streaming has been here for awhile but that was always shit, they seriously could of cornered the market but they dropped the ball big time and it's probaby gonna cost them big time. While Presto has access to HBO content (something that Netflix will probably never have) and Stan has exclusive streaming rights to Better Call Saul and Community season 6 in Australia, Netflix has had an amazing word of mouth. There has barely been any advertising for it, and people were excited for it when it arrived.. So if it gets an amazing subscriber numbers it will get more and more content. But if you can't wait there are some services that unlocks other regions out there. Your Netflix account is worldwide (well in countries with Netflix) so if you go on holiday to Denmark you can access Netflix Denmark (and watch Agent Carter, since it's on there ) with your local account. Don't know if I can share these services here so if you interested do a google search to learn how, or pm me . I appreciate the sentiment and words of hope, but you're lumping together Netflix Australia and Netflix New Zealand... They're NOT the same. Australia's problems shouldn't have much to do with ours, and again Aussie Netflix has even more content than NZ Netflix. The culprit over here isn't Fox or Nine network but Sky TV. There's dozens of major recent releases that Aus has, but where Sky is maintaining their distribution rights for when it comes to NZ. I mentioned a few earlier but the list includes tons of Disney movies (Marvel and Muppets included). So your words might explain the bullshit that is Aus Netflix, but gives no excuse for the even bigger pile of excrement that's Netflix here...

Do they ever cycle the Veronica Mars series on here? I watched the movie yesterday on Cinemax and enjoyed it. Would like to go back and watch the series but it's not on Netflix now. Amazon Prime has it.

British/Irish version has a very poor selection of films thought it is starting to improve.
Some good series on it though. Have watched four seasons of Sons Of Anarchy and really enjoying it so far.
The PS4 layout is terrible though.

Added today: Halt and Catch Fire Season 1 (TV, Drama) I knocked this season out in a week. The show feels much tighter and much better paced as a 42-minute commercial-free series than it did during its initial run on AMC, when the commercial breaks felt like they dragged the show out. Being able to watch three episodes in two hours is significantly easier than two in the same time frame, which felt like a chore. But back to the show - I watched the pilot and the second episode when they aired last summer, but kind of lost track of the show and never returned. That said, I think it is worth giving a shot on Netflix. It sort of feels like a bit of a knock-off of "Mad Men", with the handsome sales expert with a brooding and troubled past and the woman who hates him on the surface but finds him otherwise irresistible, but it's original enough and creative enough that it holds its own. It also doesn't hurt that it is a 10-episode season, so you can plow through it in a weekend if you're bored enough. My one complaint: {Spoiler}The first season should have ended with the penultimate episode, which also was hands-down the best episode of the season.
Everything feels like its finally come together for the main characters, spirits are high, it's all going well, and then their hopes are dashed and they are crushed back to reality.
I felt the final scene of the episode - with Joe stumbling upon the Macintosh - would have made for a great lead-in to season two, with the Cardiff staff trying to figure out how to top The Giant and how to best the Macintosh.
Instead, all is seemingly forgotten and we get a weak season finale where everything unravels. My personal belief is that they didn't know if "Halt and Catch Fire" would get a second season, so instead of ending the first season on a cliffhanger (as they would have with the penultimate episode) they had to kind of rush everything for the season and possibly series finale.

Just a heads up on My Bloody Valentine (1981), its the cut version where pretty much most of the killings and gore is clipped out, it could pretty much pass for a PG-13 movie nowadays.

Added today: The Babadook (Horror) I watched this one Saturday evening and the highest praise I can give it is that it was the first horror movie in about a decade to keep me awake at night. The first 40 or so minutes are painfully slow, but it culminates in a final 45 minutes that is just wrought with intense terror. It doesn't derive its sense of dread from CGI, gore, or cheap jump scares, it just builds and builds and builds until you're so tense that your phone vibrating from a text message will send you to the ceiling. I basically watched the final 45 minutes with between parted fingers covering my eyes. You expect there to be some tremendous jump scare at every turn, and that's the beauty, there are virtually none. The movie works on the most basic level: it causes your brain to think of the impending horror, which is always more frightening than the reality. What also makes the movie so unnerving is its noises. Music, creaks and moans, The Babadook's voice, it's all enough to cause you to sweat while watching it. I cannot recommend this enough, if only because I want other people to be as creeped out as I was.
